This toy was definitely designed
Truth be told, I pretty much throw out most of the masturbatory vibrators after the first or second use. They rarely possess enough power to get me off and usually break or stop working after a short period of time. My old stand by for the past several years has been a back massager I found in a spare bedroom in my parent's house that my sister gave to my mom one Christmas. It always does the job, provides enough power to get me off, and has never petered out on me.
I liked the look of the
Acuvibe because it reminded me of the
Hitachi Magic Wand, a toy from my past that was one of the back massager toys turned into a masturbatory tool. It has the similar bulbous head with the long wand handle and runs on two speeds, high and low. However, the Acuvibe one ups the Magic Wand by having the option to run plugged in on DC power or cordless, after being fully charged for a period of time. In fact, the toy was fully charged and ready to go right out of the box; all I had to do was switch it on. It doesn't need batteries at all. Now that's what I call a self-sufficient toy.
I started out using Acuvibe for its intended use, as a back massager, and it worked very nicely. Because it is cordless, you can use it wherever you want, and on either the high or low setting, you can get a nice massage. As a masturbatory tool, though, it was out of this world. I started out on the low setting, and even that provided me with enough vibration to reach climax fairly quickly, something that even my old stand by doesn't do. On the high setting, I was truly blown away. I came hard and fast, in a fraction of the time it takes with my other
vibrators. It's not too loud either, which is a definite plus.
And so now, with pleasure, I make this announcement:
Acuvibe is my new favorite sex toy. All other toys with go into the closet, suitcase, wherever, and only Acuvibe will take the coveted place beside my bed. Goodbye old stand by (I never knew its name), your services are terminated. I now stand by my new best friend, Acuvibe.
If you were thinking about buying a
Hitachi Magic Wand, don't. Acuvibe is a step up in that it can run cordless, unlike the Wand (as far as I know). While not totally portable, it can be packed in a suitcase fairly easily if you want to bring it with you. Obviously, you can always tell people it's your back massager if caught red-handed. A great investment that's sure to last for years to cum.
Very persuasive review! I had been planning to get something much cheaper, but I'm starting to think that this might be the right way for me to go. (I really like the fact that this is rechargeable, and seems fairly sturdy.)
My biggest concern is exactly how loud this thing is. Right now I'm living at home, with my brother's room about twenty feet down the hall. When I get back to college, I'm going to share a wall with another student. Will I be able to get use out of this (on any setting) without alerting my family/my dorm as to exactly what I'm up to? (I'm both paranoid and a sex toy newbie, so any information would be helpful!)
Well, it's not exactly quiet. It sounds like your basic electric back massager . You may be able to muffle the sound a little but there's a chance it will be heard regardless. Still a great toy, though!
