Acuvibe mini sex toy review

Massager by Interactive Health

Published: May 22, 2008
useful review
Pain rolled over pleasure; the two oscillated and alternated, blending into a disoriented blur. My sensations throbbed in two opposing slopes--one of discomfort and one of enjoyment--into the peak where my orgasm was building. Instinctively, I wanted to tug the massager away from me to stop the uncomfortable intensity, but I could not resist the way my clit was throbbing.
Pros:
Travel-sized, rechargeable.
Cons:
Too intense for my clit.
This toy was definitely designed
Even through the blanket and my pants, the deep vibrations of the Acuvibe Mini trembled my entire pelvis. My labia felt almost numb from the constant, hard vibes spreading through them. The bulbous tip of the massager was almost too intense. I could feel my muscles beginning to clench rhythmically.

Though it felt as though it would kill me, I came fast and hard.

I had always wanted a massager of the Hitachi Magic Wand/Acuvibe variety. However, they always seemed oversized and excessive, so the mini seduced me quickly. Rechargeable and travel-sized were the two attributes that had me instantly on my back.

As a massager, the Acuvibe Mini is brilliant. The heavy vibration penetrates sore muscles, and the effect is instantaneous. As a vibrator, these same vibrations are a bit too intense for my clit, but that very well could just be my individual clit. I do cum fast and hard from the Acuvibe Mini every time, but each time, I'm always flinching and writhing in that simultaneous slight discomfort. I have never been able to touch the head to my bare clit because even through a comforter it has me squirming.

With intense vibrators, I always worry about clit desensitization. When I use a strong vibrator regularly, my clit is less sensitive to more subtle touches. My partner has to work harder to get me off. So while I enjoy intensity occasionally, I try not to make it a constant, regular habit. I want my clit to be as responsive as possible.

Yet I still love the Acuvibe Mini. It holds a charge for a long time; I am yet to recharge mine since I initially received it, despite multiple uses. It's small and cute, easy to take with you or toss in a suitcase.I only wish it had multiple settings. I wish it had other options besides the blinding intensity.

Brilliant! The work around makes perfect sense. Thanks for the advice; I'll check it out... Smile

Heartthrob (verified)

I've found a way around clit desensitization.  Simply make sure to add tons of variety.  For example, as a rule, I never play with the same toy (or use the same method) twice in a week.  As a result, I remain sensitive to everything, from the strongest vibe to the slightest touch.  This may just work for me but who knows it could work all around.

It would be perfect for that scenario. Discrete but powerful. Plus rechargeable. Just make sure to get the right adapter :)
