This toy was definitely designed
This was one of my other original purchases in the toy arena - for the wife. In fact we still have it - but it never gets used. The
Silent Pocket Vibrator is pretty quiet in terms of vibes - but I wouldn't call it silent. It isn't the most attractive toy in the world - in fact one could go so far as to say it is unattractive.
The toy is basically designed for
clitoral stimulation -
not insertion (although I suppose that would be possible if a condom were used). I know there are ladies out there (and some guys) who will insert just about anything at least once. Anyway, I used it to provide clitoral stimulation to my wife. This was her first (admitted)
use of a vibrator. It may have been a mental block, but she seemed to enjoy it while not really getting anywhere. If I was fair, now that she is a little more seasoned - I ought to break it out and see what she thinks of it now. I am pretty confident - knowing she likes quite a bit of power (
Hitachi Magic Wand) that it probably still wouldn't cut it - for her at least.
But let's face it, the
Pocket Rocket, is an old standby. This is quieter than the
standard pocket rocket. Ours came with the "bed of nails" cap. At least that is what my wife called it. I suppose it is stating the obvious in saying she didn't care for the cap. My wife seemed to enjoy the side of the unit more than using the end.
I think if one were around others and didn't want to be heard, this might be an okay option. Another plus is that it does have two power settings as opposed to one on the standard pocket rocket. One should also keep in mind that there are two seams or joints that could allow "stuff" to work its way into their crevices - so one ought to be careful when cleaning. It is also NOT waterproof.
If you are new to toys or timid - this may be a reasonable option for a starter - it was for my wife.
Two bees doesn't seem very "silent" to me. Maybe it should be called "quiet" instead. I think to be "silent" it should be very quiet - like one bee. At least it is quieter than other pocket rockets. Thanks for the review.
