Affordable, Cute and UselessThe First Time G-spot Tulip by California Exotics is worth a try if you can ignore the seam and the fact that it is not actually very waterproof. Beyond that this toy is pretty powerful vibration wise and it is a little on the loud side but covering up the sound with some music or something would probably help.
-Useless "waterproofing" ring
This is a great beginner's toy from the standpoint that it is easy to use, not too large in overall size and very affordable. However, hopefully said beginners know to clean this toy thoroughly, say using an old toothbrush on the seam, so that they don't cause themselves infections. Conversely, size queens just will not be happy with this toy because of its small size. Also, if your g-spot prefers a softer material and something less rounded you may want to look for something else.
The g-spot tulip is also waterproof which makes it a great toy for shower and bath time play or just some easy clean up. The little rubber ring around the battery compartment is there to seal out the water that would otherwise get inside the toy during water play or washing.
If you decide to share this toy with anyone it is recommended to cover it with a condom to ensure you are not swapping bacteria or other "baddies" with someone.
This toy is best used during a solo session but it can be manipulated by a partner to increase the enjoyment you would get from using it. Just be sure you communicate the best ways to use it with your partner before starting to avoid accidental bruising, etc. if thrusted too hard.
The First Time G-spot Tulip is made from PU coated plastic which has a safety rating of 7/10 on the Eden safety scale. It is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic and latex- and phthalates-free however it is somewhat porous.
The material feels very smooth and velvety while being also very rigid and matte in finish. It comes in pink and purple pastel shades which are cute but may be too girly for some folks. There was no overpowering odor upon opening the package but it does grab on skin a bit so using water based and silicone lubricants will most likely be necessary.
The seam cannot really be felt during use but it is pretty large and should be taken into consideration before purchasing, especially if you are very sensitive to seams on toys.
Measurements are as follows:
8" long, 6 3/4" insertable
4 1/4" in circumference, 1 1/4" in diameter
This toy doesn't weight much at all so there's no worrying about tiring out your hand during use.
This toy will definitely be heard through blankets but not through a closed door so dorm use is possible if you get alone time in your room. The controls are not lockable for travel and the dial base can be easily turned so removing the batteries before packing this away is required to avoid embarrassing vibrating luggage.
There was no storage pouch included with this toy but you could just store it with other toys in a drawer, toy box or wherever else you keep your toys.
The packaging is minimal and not discreet at all so it should be recycled when empty and wrapped if gifting it to someone.
Needless to say water got inside the battery compartment no matter what I tried and it just made me so angry that I ended up tossing this in the garbage. Normally I will give a toy like this another chance but it was just so frustrating trying to get this cleaned while water was getting inside it everywhere.
