PowerGem - rabbit vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by VelvetBound

This vibrator is the second one my partner and I have ever used. He bought this for me about two weeks ago. I have to say that my overall experience with this product was great and my partner seemed to really have fun with it as well. The jelly material was new to me, and I found that this material HAD to be used with a lubricant (preferably silicone) or quite a lot of spit, otherwise it was very uncomfortable. The jelly seems to have a sticky, rubbery texture to it, which was slightly odd, though not that big of a deal to me. You should also be extremely careful when washing this type of material. I used scolding water which resulted in a large bubble on the tip of the head (not to mention you have to be careful because it is not waterproof). I would definitely recommend a toy cleaner for anyone else.

The controls were certainly an interesting aspect. It features a rotating head and vibrating "duck" attachment piece that targets the clitoris. Although the vibration has a high and low setting, I found it to be a bit too hard for me. I think this is so because of the very pointed beak of duck. It was discomforting. However, once the entire shaft of the toy was inserted deeper into the vagina, the vibrating duck seemed to sit more comfortably on the clitoris which felt much more enjoyable. If you are one who doesn't care for deeper penetration, then this could possibly be a problem. The shaft is also quite large (length and width), and the size may need to be considered for those first time toy buyers.

The rotating feature was really fun and was perhaps my favorite part. My partner enjoyed being in control of the rotation of the head and the ability to turn it clockwise or counterclockwise and switch it up in less than a second. The vibrator responded quickly when any button was pressed. The beads of the toy really did not seem to have any effect other then added discomfort (though really only slight).

Overall, I have enjoyed my experiences with this toy, and continue to use it. I sometimes even enjoy just using the vibrator piece of the toy during sex (without inserting the whole rotating shaft).

This toy has held up extremely well, and even with newer toys in the house this is still one of our favorites! Like I mentioned before, one of the downsides is the weak battery pack. Even so, it has still managed to stay together and continues to work perfectly.

One thing to note is that sometimes during penetration, the beaded area of the toy can feel somewhat hard and uncomfortable. It is a completely different texture compared to the upper half, and is much more bumpy and rough in comparison. Some people may really enjoy the variation, but it is not one of my favorite points. Really though, the hard, uncomfortable sensation usually comes with me being tense and typically subsides once I start to relax. All in all, we love this toy and would highly recommend it.
