Rabbit habit - rabbit vibrator by Vibratex - review by hyperballad

This toy, when it works properly, is well deserving of its fame in the world of vibrators. It has great internal/external functions that have brought even the most stubborn to orgasm. The bunny ears are great on the clit (and the toy can be turned so they flutter on the sensitive skin behind the vaginal opening as well), and the shaft is a great length to stimulate the g spot. This toy is great for anyone who likes simultaneous external and internal stimulation, especially those beginners who aren't quite sure what they like yet. Unfortunately, those more experienced with vibrators will be a little underwhelmed by the flaws in the design and function of the toy.

The elastomer material has no smell, and is pleasantly smooth. The shaft has "veins" and bumps for texture and a realistic phallic head. The bunny itself is made of elastomer as well and transitions smoothly onto the shaft of the toy.

I love the design of the Rabbit Habit - the shape of the shaft and external vibrator were perfect for my anatomy. When I purchased it, I was brand new to vibrators, and it was an amazing introduction. As I became more experienced, however, I became more aware of the flaws in the design.

If the Rabbit Habit were to function exactly as it should, it would be the perfect toy - a rotating shaft that stimulates the g spot, rotating beads that stimulate the vaginal opening and fluttering bunny ears that stimulate the clitoris. Unfortunately, my Rabbit Habit only did about half of what it should have. The rotating shaft was a lovely concept, but it only rotated at the slightest angle - if I tried to use it at a more extreme angle so that it would stimulate my g spot, it would stop rotating. Another problem with the motor was that using one function would take away from the other - if I used both the rotating shaft and the fluttering ears, the vibration weakened down considerably.

Once I decided to stop using the rotation function, it worked perfectly well as a nicely sized dildo with a vibrating external function, but ultimately that wasn't what I wanted for the price I paid.

The controls are located on the bottom of the toy in sliding control pad, which can be convenient depending on how you hold your vibrator during use. The batteries go in really easily, unlike some other vibrators which make it difficult to switch batteries out at crucial times. The toy is not obnoxiously loud, but it can definitely be heard at its highest settings.

The Rabbit Habit is made from elastomer, which means that the toy is slightly porous and not safe for sharing without condoms or a toy cover. It cannot be sanitized in boiling water, but it is easily cleaned with soap and warm water. One of the downsides of this highly recognizable toy is that it is not discrete in the slightest. I store mine in my bedside table, but it is larger and less discrete than other toys, so that should be taken into consideration if you have nosy housemates.
