Hot love - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Toy's heart - review by Not Here Anymore f/k/a Happy Lady

The Hot Love is a Japanese-made, dual stimulating vibrator with a pivoting shaft and vibrating clit stimulator. It is made of TPE which is considered less porous than jelly or rubber, but it cannot be sterilized so condoms are recommended for sharing between partners. It has no smell or taste. The TPE surface of the Hot Love I received has a visible seam and a couple of scratches. I am using a condom on it for my personal use as I question it's porosity when it can scratch so easily.

The clit stimulator is an oval shape with 5 semi-circle protrusions gradually increasing in size from the top to the bottom at the shaft of the Hot Love. The semi-circles are soft and flutter when the clit stimulator vibrates. The vibrations of the clit stimulator start at a rumble and increase to high buzz by using a sliding control on the base of the Hot Love. As clit stimulator can flex back from the shaft quite a bit, and the vibrations are not pinpointed, I think this vibe would suit many female body forms.

While most rabbit-style vibrators rotate, the Hot Love has a pivoting action. The pivot action is also controlled by a sliding switch, located just next to the vibration switch. The top of the shaft has a flattened portion, similar to a large thumb. When the pivoting action is turned on, the “thumb” part moves in a circular motion to stimulate the g-spot.

The Hot Love is powered by 4 AAA batteries, which are included. It is quite powerful, but there is a small decrease in the power of the separate functions when they are turned on at the same time. The pivoting action stands up against clinching.

I left the Hot Love, with both functions set as high as they would go, on top of my bed, went into the hallway and shut the bedroom door. I could still hear it, although it sounded more like a loud fan than anything else.

It is lightweight, even with the batteries in place. The battery casing is thin plastic and feels somewhat flimsy. The TPE covering is not attached to the unit and can roll up from the base. I haven't attempted to roll it all the way up, but this is something that has to be considered during cleaning. I have found the best way to clean the Hot Love is to hold it upside down, spray it with toy cleaner and wipe with a damp (not wet) hot washcloth.

The Hot Love is one of the ugliest toys I've ever seen, but it is one the best toys I've ever felt. The semi-circles on the clit stimulator serve to envelop my clit with vibrations– rather than poke at it like most rabbit vibes do. The “thumb” part of the shaft feels just like a finger massage of my g-spot.

The Hot Love is the first toy I've ever had that I can basically just turn it on, place it and let it bring me to orgasms without really any effort on my part. I like it enough that I will continue to buy condoms just to use on it.

After using it quite a bit I have 2 concerns about the Hot Love:
1. I think it's just a matter of time before I drop it and the battery case breaks.
2. I'm pretty sure I will eventually get moisture under the TPE covering where it is not attached to the vibe body.

Even with those concerns, and especially for the price, the Hot Love is a great solo toy.

I still love this unique rabbit. Although it has gotten louder with use, the power has not gotten weaker. I'm also not terribly found of it needing AAA batteries as I don't keep those around. I don't use that often, but when I do I am not disappointed.
