The Eden Silicone Butterfly egg is a must-have for users of all types. It can be used most anywhere on the body, and can be used by singles and couples alike.

It is not ideal for use inside the anus or vagina, because of its wings, but is wonderful against the nipples or clit, and because of the wings' flutter, you can use it as a teasing aid for the rest of the body as well.

This toy is made from silicone with a subtle texture that feels like flesh. It has no obvious taste, and the scent is negligible until you push it against your nose for a 'sniff test'.

It's smooth and easy to use, but the silicone lets it nestle nicely between the labia if that is the user's desire, and it stays in place fairly easily with just a pair of underwear.

This toy is quite small, it's a little longer than an inch at the bullet end, and roughly three inches at the controller. The cord is quite long (several feet) and works well to discretely function out of a pant pocket.

The butterfly shape is made such that the antenna and wings vibrate differently at each of the 12 vibration settings. Do watch the end of the vibrating part where it meets the cord. The plug there can become worn and pop out after rough use, leading to internal water damage during washing.

For travel, this toy is wonderful. It fits in a zip-lock snack bag with ease, and as long as it's wrapped in something, the wings won't catch on anything and tear off.

The controller grip is easy on the hands and because it lights up at each vibration's pulse, using it is easy.

The vibrations appear to come from two parts in the bullet: the back and the front, and the 12 settings take full advantage of this for moving the center of vibration, or vibrating the parts at different tempos. The light on the controller allows the user to see when it is vibrating and when it is not, and it cycles through the different settings with one button, and power on/off from another button.

I find if I start on the first setting and work my way through them, it is very enjoyable. They appear to be programmed to increase sensation as the functions cycle.

While the wings are nice, I found they did sometimes hurt my labia if I didn't adjust it properly.

With a battery life of hours and no signs of wear after a year (save something not caused by a defect or design flaw, but my own misuse), this toy can last a long time.

Finally, the waterproofing. This is very effective for as long as you don't pierce the seal on the plug at the wire end of the vibrator. I have had no damage on the controller, but accidentally piercing the seal on the plug with a fingernail did lead to problems. So far, letting it dry out has helped restore some of its former glory.

A perfect toy for beginners and people who live with others, it can be stored in a tissue until a bathroom is available, and cleans easily with water and gentle rubbing. If a scent or residue does not come off with this much, a little soap will restore it to beauty.

Be wary of putting your fingernails near the plug at the wire end. This can pierce the waterproof seal and damage the toy, but in regular, non-rough use, this will not be a problem.

This toy was packaged in a simple clear bag that served as its storage for a month before I found a nice box. It did not come with instructions, but was very easy to figure out (triple-A batteries go in, and the alignment is listed in the battery opening).

The toy took no damage in shipping, and the box it came in was so discrete I wasn't sure if it was an early birthday present someone ordered for me, or if it was the present I ordered for myself.

I bought this toy a year ago, and used it extensively, often for hours at a time. Even as my habits and tastes changed, I continued to return to this simple but effective little vibrator, and trying new ways in which it could be used.

Only abusively rough use managed to cause any damage to it, and I bought a new one as soon as I gathered the money to afford it.

For users interested in insertion, please do not use the finger of a latex glove. Trying to force it into the tight space will damage the seal and rip off the wings, and washing the toy afterwards will lead to water damage on the rotors.
