An Old Friend

This has been one of my favorite toys for a long time. It is dependable and reliable and very good at what it was designed to do, give you a wonderful g-spot orgasm!

extremely useful review
I was wandering through the site and found an old friend and wanted to brag a bit on him. This kit is wonderful for a first time user and though it is made of rubber it has never caused any sort of reaction for me. I have an allergy to latex that while non-life threatening can be very uncomfortable while my body deals with the swelling. Sometimes rubber can mimic or trigger this allergy but this product's sleeve has never done this. I have had the G-Spot vibrator kit for at least 5 years now and it is still going strong.

The sleeve comes off with a bit of tugging and pulling and the vibrator inside has vertical ridges running the length of the shaft that are not harsh and can barely be felt if you are still but when you twist it inside they give a unique sensation if you are as sensitive as I am. The vibration mechanism works with a twist type switch located at the base of the vibrator. It is somewhat difficult to control the speed variations as the knob on my particular device was easily turned either up or down. There isn't much speed to the little guy but he does generate a pleasant hum. I have used him many times for clitoral stimulation over the years and never been left wanting. The Dildo itself is made of hard plastic and is a nice girth without being exceptional. It has 7 inches insertable with the sleeve on and about 1 inch less with it off. The vibrations while not earth shaking do feel good against the g-spot if you are already aroused. When I tried it before arousal I was a bit disappointed to be honest. This is a quiet toy especially when the sleeve is on, you'd probably be able to hear it outside a closed door but only if the house were particularly quiet and even then it sort of sounds like a low hum possibly from outside. I am not very experienced with anal sex so I can't comment on how it works for that area.

The sleeve transforms the vibrator to a g-spot vibrator and is quite good at hitting the right area. The vibrations can be readily felt through the sleeve and the angle of the sleeve head makes for an interesting ride. You can position it easily and it's good if you like hard thrusting or if you just want something to "grip" while you stimulate your clit with another toy, or a mouth. My little guy didn't come with the oil or booklet so I can't comment on those but I can say that as much as I like this toy I can't imagine the oil and book detracting from it. It takes 2 "c" batteries and it doesn't run through them quickly like so many other vibrators do.

This toy gets a low rating for safety because it has a rubber sleeve so remember to clean thoroughly before and after play and this probably wouldn't be a good one to share without a condom. Still for all that I recommend this as a wonderful first vibrator since it was in fact my first!
Follow-up commentary
This is one of my oldest vibrators and still one that I love. The vibe itself takes C batteries and still after all these years has a hell of a punch to it. I don't use the sleeve anymore since I have come to realize that it was the sleeve that was causing soreness and irritation of my vaginal canal after playing. This is something new and it think the rubber might be breaking down...or it picked up some nasty organisms during the time I was ignorant of proper cleaning and care of toys. Rubber is porous and can't really be totally cleaned and it's been ten+ years that I've had this little guy. I can still use the sleeve with a condom over it but I have other toys now so it's been placed into genteel retirement. Still the vibe works like a champ and can fit some of the higher quality sleeves making this probably the most versatile toy I own. Good going Doc Johnson!

Gotta love C batteries! Where is the motor located in the shaft of the vibrator? In the tip, middle, or near the base?

The motor is just above where the battery compartment ends, so it's in the middle but pushed more toward the tip of the device. C batteries are rather large pushing the motor off true center. I think that's why the toy doesn't deliver quite the kick of a toy where the motor is in the very top but it can definately be felt where it advertises it should be. I don't think I'd like a vibrator for the g spot that felt like a jackhammer though for clitoral stimulation I prefer something much more vigorous.
