"And I was like Fairy Baby, Baby, Baby, Oh!"

This is a great novelty toy and a starting brick for those new to starting up an adult toy collection. It’s easy to operate and maintain, it’s small and adorable and it’s rechargeable so you don’t have to worry about buying new batteries. While it might not be as strong as its larger family members, don’t let its 3″ size put you off, big things do come in small packages.

Pros:
This is the cutest mini vibrator on the market!
Cons:
The strength of the vibrations and the noise could be improved.

extremely useful review
The Fairy is a Japanese brand of vibrators that has taken the world by storm, pleasuring those with a soft spot for cuteness. It’s the ultimate feminine adult toy, with the distinctive colours of baby pink and white, and all versions sharing the same fairy design and massager vibe shape. With the Fairy series coming in several types – The Original Fairy, The Fairy Mini, The Fairy Mini-Mini, The Fairy Pocket, The Fairy Baby and of course the exclusive Fairy Wireless, there is a Fairy vibrator out there for everybody.

The Fairy Baby Wand arrives in a small plastic clam-like package, camouflaged nicely against the floral design of the packet. The text “Fairy Baby” is shown above the micro-vibrator, along with the trademark design of fairies in shades of pink. The back of the package is unreadable, unless you can read and understand Japanese and no user manual or instructions are included inside. To open up this minute toy, you simply separate the plastic at the top of the package and pop it open, revealing the Baby Wand and its attachments.

So how small is this vibrator, I hear you asking? Well the Fairy Baby measures in just short of 3 inches, the exact length of my pinky finger. For those interested in the minor measurements, excuse me while I get my microscopic measuring tape out. Right, so the circumference of the head is 2 ½ and the length of ¾” while the tiny neck is a millimeter off ¼”. The body is shaped like a tapered cone and has a soft pink strip that surrounds the control dial and matching pink font above states the obvious – “Fairy Baby”, along with a miniature printed design. At the base of the toy you will find a small hole which you can use to clip on the lanyard that comes as an attachment, allowing you to use your mini vibrator as a charm.

The wand is made out of plastic and is seamless with no rough or sharp edges. The head is smooth to touch, with five intended ridges that don’t offer any benefit and the neck is not bendable, unlike its larger family members. The first thing I normally notice with new toys is the smell but the Baby Wand is scentless along with being phthalates free, latex free, hypo allergenic and for the sake of an honest review, tasteless.

The selling point, and what makes the Baby vibe so unique compared to the others is that it’s rechargeable via USB. Your cute new toy comes with a 21″ long USB cord which can be inserted into the applicable slot on your PC or laptop and then joined up with the opening at the back of Fairy. You’ll know it’s charging because the USB will turn red, a really awesome feature that I’ve yet to see in other products. Once you’ve charged up, disconnect the USB from the toy and ensure you keep the charging cord safe.

Using the Fairy Baby Wand is simple, just roll the dial on the front of the toy and you’ll feel (and hear) what this little baby is all about. Unfortunately there is only one speed which I consider moderate and unexpected for the noise it actually makes. Although small in size, this toy is loud and makes a high-pitched buzz that resembles a swarm of bees. If it’s a discrete vibrator that your after, this probably isn’t the Wand for you.

In terms of care and maintenance, the easiest way to keep it clean is with toy wipes as bathing it in the sink will cause it to break as it is not waterproof. I store my Baby Wand in a silk draw-string bag which keeps it out of direct sunlight and prevents me from losing it. The USB cable is stored by my Xbox 360 console in a drawer for easy, chargeable access but if you're prone to losing things, I’d keep the two together.
Experience
This product is ideal for stimulating all your sensitive areas but like most massagers, is not designed for internal use. Its small size makes it ideal for traveling with and setting the mood during foreplay, but as a sexual stimulator, I found that it wasn’t strong enough to climax with.

I actually found that due to the size and strength of the vibrations that it was ideal for facial and hand massages.

Awesome review! I expected this to be small, but wow! I had no idea it was THAT small. Lol. Thanks for including that info. Very nice. I almost bought this, but have been debating between this and the Infrared massager. Very glad I read your review first because I think I'd be better off spendind the $ on the infrared one. This is so cute though! Thanks for the nice deets.

great review, thanks for sharing. I purchased this for my wife, not knowing how small it really was. I was surprised when I opened the box to find this small wand inside. But it works well as a bullet for her. And it is rechargeable, another plus. As long as the battery holds up.

Thanks for the review. It is much smaller than I expected and probably wouldn't have the power I need. It sure is cute though.

  • Fairy Baby USB Use while charging?
    • Could you actually use this while it's in the USB port? Also, how long is the cord?

Wait, wait, wait, wait, there's a vibrator that's USB POWERED? Mind=blown.

      No, ya can't.
I had this and the cable is extremely short. Unless ya wrap ya legs around ya computer....hehehe.

  • Loud? Which one is better?
    • I noticed alot of people say that its kinda loud but it says only 2 beeps on here which is what another one of my toys was.Is it just loud for its size or is it louder then what it says it should be? Just how loud is it? A tad curious if i should or shouldnt try it out its so cute but if its loud that will be a turn off. Would My Mini-Miracle massager wand – vibrating head massager be better? Though not as cute and not recharble it is cheaper and water proof but im just not sure.
    • It's louder than a cell phone on vibrate, that's for damn sure. I think it's kinda like... a dentist drill, just a touch bit softer in volume. (I dunno a better example...) Or maybe like an engraver, ya know, one of those engraving pens to engrave metals and such. I still need to review mine I got offsite....
    • It's louder than it really should be for a toy so tiny. It's nothing like a rabbit, but for a tiny vibe like that, it's loud. It's louder than most average bullets or clitoral toys. It's not that "omg!!" loud, but when it comes to seeing something that small, you don't expect it to be as loud as it is.

  • Fairy Baby and Wall Adapter?
    • I have one of these: link

You think it would be safe to use it with the Fairy Baby to charge from the wall rather than through the computer? I don't want to fry it or anything by doing something wrong.
    • I have not tried it, but I don't see why you couldn't use that wall plug. If you try it let me know how it goes!
    • I did use it and it seemed to work fine! It got all charged and had no problems. Not sure how well it'll do in the long run, but hey, it works for me. :)

  • Fairy Baby Wand
    • Dear EF Gods,
I was wondering if there was any time frame as to when the Fairy Baby Wand will be available for purchase? I have the Fairy Mini Wand and absolutely love it, so I have high hopes for this one too. Plus, look at it, it's absolutely adorable! Any information on the availability of this product would be greatly appreciated:)

      Thanks,
      Muffyspingulove
    • So cute! I might want this and the pocket one! I don't use my hitachi for clit stim (too strong and big and bulky) but this, ooo, my bf even said I should consider getting one.
    • I don't have any of the fairy line YET, but this is definitely on my 'to get' list as soon as possible. It is just so friggen adorable!
