So when this came to the door and I opened the box I was a little disappointed. On the back of the packaging is states “Warning: Sold as an adult joke toy only, no claims are warranted or implied by other used of this product.” “This product is for novelty use only.” This not being mentioned in any other reviews I must bring it up, due to the fact I would have not bought this product knowing this.


This vibe is made of elastomer which is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone. It is scent and phthalates-free. I would recommend using condoms with this product if you intend on sharing. You can use warm water and anti-bacterial soap to clean, but I would recommend toy cleaner due to the controls and the base of the toy. Avoid holding this toy upright when cleaning with soap and water, as it seems water could run down the shaft into the controls. Be sure when cleaning to get along the base where the clit stimulator meets the shaft.

The Artimes has a fairly firm head on top of a bubble shaped shaft that is much softer. The head as well as the shaft is covered in little finger like ticklers. The clit stimulator is firm with longer ticklers to add to the sensation.

Now to the mechanics of the Artemis; she takes four double A batteries, as opposed to the four triple A’s the product description or box states it uses. Getting the batteries in what a bit of a pain, and taking them out was even more difficult. Be careful when removing the batteries when I took mine out the bottom two batteries popped up and pushed the contact spring up, just be cautious as to not break the spring off while removing the batteries. Also the first time I put batteries in and tried turning it on, nothing happened. I took the back off and pushed the batteries in toward the controls and it turned on. Once I got the batteries in place in the base and put the cover back on I had no further problems. There are two different controls on the front of the base one for vibe and one for “swing” or the rotation of the shaft. They are dial controls like the volume knob on the side of your alarm clock. Up for faster down for slower.

So finally after getting the batteries in and the cover on it was time to test her out. I first played around with the rotation or what they call “swing” of the shaft. I would say there are three maybe four speeds for the rotation of the shaft. I found it easier to turn the speed the whole way up and then back down to get to a suitable speed for my liking. Next came testing out the clit stimulator, which seems there are three different vibration speeds. The vibration on this toy is very impressive even on the lowest setting they are reasonably strong working its way up to what would be too strong for some. But with those strong vibrations comes a noisy toy, which could be a bit distracting to some.

Finally after playing with everything I took her and got her lubed up, with elastomer you can use silicone or water based lubes. Once I got her in I turned on the “swing” which felt good inside with all the ticklers rubbing the walls of my vag, then I turned up the clit stimulator. Let me tell you this little thing sure does vibrate!! Even on the lowest setting the vibrations seemed to overpower the pleasure of the rotation. With this toy having and insertable length of about 3 1/2” it seem to fall a bit short on any G-spot stimulation, but I found the 4” circumference of this toy to be very comfortable, just about perfect for me while I had the rotation going. This toy also works well using the head of the shaft while rotating for a manual stimulation of the clit.

After my initial disappointment of the warning on the packaging, this is definitely a fully functioning vibe. Over all I think this product would make for a great beginners toy, maybe someone moving up from their first traditional vibe, wanting to try out a dual action vibrator. As far as the more advanced user, due to the smaller length and girth it may fall short.

Being named after Artemis the goddess of forests and hills, child birth, virginity, fertility and the hunt, is a good name for something that will leave some on the hunt for a more, but provides nothing in the areas of fertility and could be good for the rabbit virgin.

I have given this rabbit many attempts to win me over. As I said the vibrations are good and strong given the over all quality of the toy. After many attempts alone and with my boyfriend using on me I have been able to get any real enjoyment out of this toy vaginally. The vibrations of the clit stimulator are good but just don't seem to hit my clit right or with enough pressure when inserted. The round head of this vibe though does make for effortless manual stimulation of the clit. This is one toy I do not regret buying, I always love trying new toys and adding to our collection; but this vibe has simply been used in foreplay on my clit.

I am always open to giving toys a good run to prove their functionality and performance, because sometimes first impressions are not always correct. Well my initial disappointment with this vibe has not changed a bit, actually I dislike it even more. Not only did the batteries give me a difficult time from the get go it got worse. Last time I brought this toy out I had to put tape across the back of the batteries to hold them in place for them to touch the contacts to give it power. Which in turn makes it impossible to put the battery cover back on. That alone is a major turn off. Who really wants to use a mediocre rabbit with black electrical tape holding the batteries in? Surely not me it looks ridiculous and is somewhat of a mood killer. For the price I suppose I should not be surprised.
