When I first got this vibe out of the package, my first thought was, "Wow, that's . . . well, it's positively silky!" Upon use, I was not disappointed in this regard. What it may lack in quietness or intensity, it makes up for in feel. Don't get me wrong, I like it rough, but every once in a while I crave something soft and simple without any bells and whistles. This is a great solution to that craving. Sleek, simple, and not overbearing in size or texture, this vibe has shouldered its inadequacies with gusto and performs the way it ought to -- and all for my favorite price: free.

The feeling, as I've said, is one of the silkiest I've yet experienced. Being plastic, it has no smell or taste and is incredibly safe, which is a departure from what I'm used to (most of the products I own so far are jelly and must be used with a condom for maximum safety). For women (or men) who are shy or just beginners to solo play, or perhaps who are sensitive to textures or size, this vibe is a lovely solution or a starting point to a great collection.

The name says it all: slimline. Streamlined and smooth, slim (but not too much), and with enough length to satisfy, not to mention the inherent attractiveness of it all, is a welcome change to what I -- and the community at large, I'm sure -- is used to.

The control for the vibration is dial-based at the end, and the dial itself is large and easy to spin during usage. Vibrations are situated in the tip of the toy, but they radiate nicely throughout. The vibrations are dynamic.

The noise of this toy may be a problem for some, as it is quite loud; and, even so, it's not incredibly powerful. Though this is the case, with the television on or some music, I wouldn't think you could hear it through a closed door.

As far as being waterproof, there's a rubber ring around the inside of the battery compartment meant to seal out liquids. I haven't submerged it as of yet, but it's perfectly safe in the shower.

Being waterproof and plastic, this vibe is immensely easy to clean using toy cleaner or soap and warm water. It can be stored virtually anywhere: with your other toys in a case, in a dresser drawer, or even under your pillow. It is unassuming enough to go virtually undetected beneath a pair of socks.

The vibe came packaged in a fitted plastic container, which I suppose you COULD store it in, though it's not the most discreet or appealing option. Inside the battery compartment, there was an insert explaining battery placement, which is really all you need as far as instructions go. There is a low-high indicator graphic on the base of the dial.
