BANG! Headshot!

For those who need extra stimulation on a budget, this bullet is an excellent choice. At its highest setting, it's quite intense; perhaps more intense than might be comfortable for the more sensitive. Happily, power meets a degree of customizability in this product, given its multi-speed function.

Use

The Eden bullet is a fairly standard classic bullet where its uses are concerned. It can be used to stimulate very nearly any part of the body; my partner enjoys using it on his nipples, for instance. It's also an ace provider of clitoral stimulation, and can be inserted vaginally, as well. Because it doesn't have a flared base -- and the cord, while it hasn't shown signs of giving out on me yet, is a bit flimsy -- I would not recommend inserting it anally, but it could quite easily be used to stimulate the exterior of the anus. Be sure to clean it properly before switching from any anal play to vaginal play, even if it's exterior. Better safe than sorry!

I would suggest this bullet for beginners because it's easy to use. However, the vibrations vary from a low rumble to an intense buzz, and the higher settings can be overpowering for more sensitive bodies. This toy is an excellent choice for people like me, who require really intense pinpoint stimulation. For those who don't, or who prefer rumbling to buzzing, it still packs a decent bang for its buck, due to its lower settings.

Material / Texture

The Eden bullet is made entirely out of hard plastic, with the egg itself comprised of slick, smooth plastic, and the controller a more textured variant. At first blush, this might not seem all that important a distinction to make, but I found the lightly textured plastic of the controller has a bit more -- shall we say -- grip to it.

Putting it another way, it's not going to pop, soap-in-the-shower style, out of any potentially sweaty palms in the heat of the moment. Meanwhile, the smooth bullet feels pleasant against one's more delicate parts.

There is no odor to speak of, happily, and the material is naturally non-porous and thus easy to clean, as noted below.

Design / Shape / Size

While not the sleekest-looking bullet on the market, the Eden boasts a pleasantly rounded design which prevents unexpected prodding or poking. Furthermore, as noted above, some attention is paid to the textures of the various components, making them individually easier to use.

The bullet itself is about the length of my thumb, and thus not overly intimidating to potential beginners. However, neither the design of the toy nor the EdenFantasys logo printed proudly on the side are terribly discreet, so be wary of where you leave it sitting.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Eden Bullet is a straightforward little lady, all-in-all. There's a wheel on the controller which allows one to rev up or turn down the intensity of the vibrations with relative ease; though you do run some risk of your finger slipping, and landing you with much stronger vibrations than you might have wanted. As noted below, it's not waterproof, and thus shouldn't be used in the shower or bath. Heck, I'm still nervous about getting water in the bullet while cleaning it.

There are no patterns to choose from, with the Eden. Merely varying levels of intensity; however, I find that patterns can be simulated by rolling the control wheel back and forth.

Be warned, though! The Eden takes a lot of battery power to run. It uses AA's, happily; but you're going to need a lot of them if you play often or for particularly extended periods.

Care and Maintenance

Being plastic and relatively non-porous, the Eden bullet is overall quite easy to clean. I wash it in warm water, with antibacterial soap after use. You can also use specialized toy-wipes, though I don't honestly believe it necessary to go that far. The one thing to watch out for is the place where the cord enters the bullet. There's a visible gap around the cord, which leaves a good deal of room for water to get in. Naturally, submersion isn't recommended; this sucker isn't waterproof.

Packaging

The toy comes in a simple plastic bag, with the Eden Fantasys logo printed across the front. Hardly discreet, given you can see everything that's inside. It's also not resealable, so it wouldn't be my first choice where storage is concerned, when I have zip-locks around the house.

Personal comments

If there's one issue I have with the Eden bullet, it's that it's battery-operated.

Long-time users of battery-operated toys will probably know what I'm talking about, here. When you have a powerful toy that goes through batteries like a beast, you can often find yourself spending more than the initial cost of the toy just to fuel it! If this were a USB or rechargeable bullet, I would be a very happy camper.

But! All that said, she's still an excellent purchase for the price.
Follow-up commentary
Overall, this dutiful little bullet has treated me well, thus far. My only real issue with the Eden bullet is the way it loses intensity as the batteries weaken, but such can be said of any battery-operated toy.

As an aside, the bullet does become warm during extended use. Personally, I find the sensation pleasant, though it does raise some concerns about the motor overheating.
