Basix jelly egg - egg discontinued by Pipedream - review by MizzMistress

I simply don't know where to begin with this toy.. It has many faults, upon first use, I noticed the remote wasn't operating correctly, some of the speed settings on the wheel wouldn't send a signal to the bullet to vibrate, Later on I had noticed that when the wire was bent in certain ways, it would completely shut off!

The jelly cover on the bullet ripped easily, Also its VERY DIFFICULT to clean! There was enough of a gap in the jelly cover around the wire that water actually sneaked inside, damaging the bullet! I had to throw it away because it stopped working completely. It was just a poorly created excuse for a vibrator. The vibrations were weak, and if you turned it to full-blast it was very noisy! The vibrations kind of numbed my lips from the fast speeds. Not pleasurable at all. Just discomfort until the irritation went away.

This SAYS it is waterproof but it isn't! As I mentioned previously, The jelly cover has flaws, it lets water in to the bullet, and the remote had cracks in it that water would definitely seep into.

This isn't even beginner-quality toy.. its just utter crap! Don't waste your money.

This Basix Jelly Egg is composed of a cheap, thin jelly cover on an aluminum(?) bullet. A plastic coated wire leading to a cheap hard plastic remote.

The wiring was weak, bend it and it stops working, straighten it out, and it works again.

The jelly coating never kept water out of the bullet, and ripped within a few days of use.

The design of the Basix Jelly egg was alright. But the execution and quality is less than poor! The size of the egg is standard, the wire could definitely be longer, its not easy to hide because everything sticks to the bullet.

Its not very discreet because of the noise level it produces, it can be very loud and if its touching something it is obnoxiously noisy!

The vibrations are throughout the bullet which is nice. The layout of the controls is simple and easy to use, a scroll wheel to increase or decrease vibration levels.

Its noisy on even the lowest setting, and obnoxiously loud on the highest vibration setting.

This toy says it is waterproof but it is not whatsoever. The remote is poorly constructed and has no waterproof gaskets that most waterproofed toys have.

It has been a pain to clean this toy due to the previously stated "waterproof" issues.

When I had attempted to clean the egg/bullet the jelly started to tear and water ended up getting inside of the bullet, causing me to discard the entire toy.

The water rendered it completely useless.
