Coupled with several nice features, upscale design, and top-rated materials, this member of the Bcute line could be just what you need to fill the holes of your toy collection. If it wasn't so weak, it could easily compete with several items from the luxury brands.

Use

This is a sweet, discreet silicone vibrator from Bswish. As a member of their Bcute line, this one is referred to as the classic - perhaps because its slight curvature is reminiscent of a classic hourglass figure. Designed as a clitoral and general external massager, the tapered tip provides pointed (but not pin-point) stimulation. Of course, this multi-feature toy is better for more than just the advertised use, as it also works for moderate vaginal stimulation and sphincter play. The lack of a flared base and teeny size make it a no-go for anal exploration, but other than that the options are limitless. Take it on the go, in the car, in the tub, or just keep it in your bedside table.

The Classic also features a number of speeds and a waterproof coating, making it perfect for silent shower shenanigans. College students will rejoice at its relatively quiet motor, and the non-intimidating size makes it a great introduction to couple's play. No partner need ever fear being replaced by such an adorable little gadget.

That being said, this toy is better suited to the beginner lot than to the more advanced. While the girth is suited to clitoral stimulation, anything more will leave size queens wanting. On top of that, power-lovers might be off-put by the lack of a truly powerful setting and the unconcentrated vibrations.

Material / Texture

Other than the dial base this toy is made completely out of top-grade, body-safe silicone. Silicone is a favorite among most users, from those just starting to dabble in sex toys to self-proclaimed experts. Why? Because it lasts a long time, doesn't retain odors, keeps water, bacteria and dirt at bay, and is a breeze to clean. This toy is no exception. It had no smell coming from the box, and even through several uses it stayed that way. Unlike some of my other toys made from the same material, it seems to collect less dust, but that much just be because the color masks it.

The silicone on this toy is thin, firm, and sleek. The very tip is a bit thicker than elsewhere, allowing it to move ever so slightly under pressure. When used for insertion drag was not a problem, and the lack of a seam was a boon. Like most clitoral vibrators, it has no additional texture. Those of us spoiled by wand attachments might find this boring, but the simplicity is one of the things that make bullets great.

With a dab of lubricant, this guy really slides. Whether or not you find that to be a good feature is up to you, but I personally loved it. It made it so easy to go between the labia, clitoris, and anywhere else my hand desired. As long as you do not get lube all over the turn dial, it should otherwise stay wherever you want it to.

Design / Shape / Size

The design, like the packaging, is very upscale. It comes in your choice of three colors: Rose, dark purple and teal-y blue. What color you get is reflected on the box, so if you find this in a store you will be sure to know which one you are getting. Each has a two-part plastic dial base (white in the cases of the rose and purple versions, and the same shade of blue as the silicone for the teal one), which you turn to adjust the settings and, once screwed off, also holds the battery. If you just turn the upper portion to the left it will change the vibrations. To get to the battery compartment, just hold and twist around the portion that has the Bswish logo to the right. Be careful when adjusting this in the shower, as turning it the wrong way can mean an exposed battery compartment and a ruined toy. Below that is a silver metallic ring, which I at first assumed to be the o-ring used to protect the inner compartments during water play, but is really just there for aesthetic purposes. The actual o-ring is securely set at the bottom of the corkscrew section of the cap, as long as you don't try to remove it on purpose.

Like most bullets it is on the small side, being about four inches long with a tapered yet rounded point. Roughly three of those are insertable, although one must remember that that is not the primary purpose for this toy. The shape is slightly skinnier at the middle than at the head, which has a minor bulge. The silicone is firm due to a hard plastic skeleton, with no visible seam. One place where the toy is not firm is the tip where it has a bit of give, making it more forgiving on sensitive body parts. Beginners will love the simplicity and advanced users should love both the shape, quality, and lack of seems.

Personally I adored the design. I dislike toys that are too long, and in my opinion a discreet vibrator doesn't need to be that big anyways. This allows it to fit in any sort of bag or drawer, and with the provided bag, makes it good for travel and hiding. Unfortunately, if someone does catch a peek of it they will likely know what it is. There is no mistaking this toy for a tube of lipstick. If you need something that is going to stay 100% completely undercover I would look elsewhere. Additionally, there are some minor places where it doesn't fit well. The circumference is too big for brush / pen / lipstick pouches, and good luck trying to go unnoticed if you stick it in your jeans pocket.

All of this being said, there is one thing I disliked. On the very top of the base there are a few imprinted words. These read "Multi-speed waterproof Low ---> high" around in a circle, which indicates what direction you need to turn. I'm glad that put that there, but it would have been more helpful to give some indication on the instructions or the box instead of some barely readable indents. Because I didn't see these at first, I had to fool around for five minutes trying to figure out how to change the speed without removing the cap or turning it off on accident.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Running on one battery and a single motor, this guy is pretty standard among non-rechargeable bullets. Unlike some comparable models that run on watch batteries, N batteries, or AAA batteries, this one uses a AA. If you have an extensive toy collection already what it uses might not be a problem, but as a newbie I liked that is uses a double-A over a triple-A, since they're much easier to find around the house.

As I mentioned in the design section, the battery compartment is located underneath the screw-top style turn base. The motor is located just below this, and everything is encased in a hard plastic shell. This allows the vibrations to be felt not only at the tip, but along the whole shaft with equal intensity. The reverberations cause them to feel and sound low rumbly. I love rumbly vibrators, but there are two things to be concerned about here.

1) The vibrations are not that powerful. The lowest setting feels more akin to a lover's tongue or fingers than anything else, and I need to jack it up all the way to the highest setting to get off properly. I am not a power queen, so that really tells you something. If you are you probably won't get much out of this toy. But if you're looking for something to introduce yourself to vibrations with, if you have sensitive intimate areas, or need to back off from the body-numbing power of the Hitachi, this is great.

I would still highly recommend having at least one weaker vibe like this one in your chest regardless of what you require to climax. You don't have to orgasm every time you use a toy, and the lack of power can really be a benefit in some ways. Imagine trying to use something with a ton of horsepower during foreplay, or having to introduce it to a timid partner. A weak bullet can fill in the gaps other items leave behind.

2) Sound frequency. Higher "buzzy" vibrators put out wavelengths of a higher frequency when they generate noise than lower ones do. These higher frequencies are absorbed by walls and cannot be heard from as far away. This makes them sneakier and easier to hide than rumbly vibrators which have lower frequencies, which in turn are more often reflected as echos and can pass through spaces.

Not to say that this guy isn't easy to hide, because he is. When used in the bedroom, it can be muffled by a pillow, and cannot be heard from outside the room if the door is closed. While using him in the shower, I had to hold him right next to my ear to hear a thing. When I stepped outside the shower I could hear some echos, but nothing that could be mistaken for an electric razor. Add in a bathroom fan and everything is covered up perfectly.

Speaking of the bathroom, this guy worked great in the shower. It can be rough without lube if you aren't aroused beforehand, so be prepared for that. Changing the settings was easy even when my hands and the toy were wet, and he dried off easily. If you plan on using him in the tub I would exercise caution. Make sure the cap is screwed down all the way and remember to turn to the left to increase vibration speed, not the right.

Care and Maintenance

Of course, there are some things about the Classic that makes it hard to recommend to complete novices (and people that don't like to read directions). You have to be careful about how you store it and what lubes you use with it. Other silicone products are strictly off-limits for this guy, unless you want to deal with a warped, disgusting mess. Do not assume that something is safe, and always make sure to read the labels. Nothing is worse than opening your toy chest and finding a beloved go-to was ruined due to carelessness.

Now don't let all of that scare you off. Aside from that, there is one word to describe taking care of this toy: easy. Keeping it in its storage baggie and using water-based lube should prevent anything from happening, and it is otherwise good to go. Just clean it when you first open it, before and after each use to keep it sparkly and new. Here's a run-down of your cleaning options:

GOOD: Toy spray / wipes, 10% bleach solution, hot soap and water

BAD: The dishwasher, other household cleaning products, boiling (due to plastic pieces)

Keep in mind that these recommendations are not universally true for each toy. Silicone dildos, for instance, would be fine in the dishwasher on the top rack. And when I clean my toys I always use toy spray or wipes instead of the bleach solution or soap and water. The soap can leave residue behind depending on what it is made with, and bleach is a harsh chemical, so I'm rather reluctant to use it on something that's going to be in my most private places. Of course there are situations which warrant their use. If you plan on sharing this toy, get an infection, get ill, or have had a particularly messy session, then you might prefer to use bleach or anti-bacterial soap.

Packaging

The packaging for this product is utterly superb, especially when you consider what others in the price range are like. The box comes in an unsealed plastic bag, to help prevent damage and to prevent dust from collecting. The box itself is about six inches tall by three inches wide, with a depth of one and a quarter inches, making it small enough for storage in just about any location, including slim desk drawers. The black and rose colored labeling has a great design, although it is certainly not as covert as some of Lelo's products. In a way, it reminds me of the Merona products from Target.

The front gives half of a black and white photo of a woman in her bra, next to a small description that reads "be adventurous, be fulfilled with this 3" waterproof silicone multi-speed massager. Enjoy its silky touch in the bath or anytime." In the corner it gives a small outline of what the product looks like, and the Bswish website. The Bswish logo is also seen at the bottom and on the top of the box, as well as a title that reads "bcute classic". One side gives a model of what the product looks like, though it is not to scale. Instead they list the exact dimensions of the product below, claiming it is 3.9 inches (10 cm) long with a girth of 0.8 inches (2 cm). The opposite side gives some helpful specifications in English, French, Spanish, German, Russian and Japanese:

"Material: Silicone and ABS Plastics, Battery: 1 x AA, Use time: 3 hours, Functions: multi-speed, Waterproof: yes" I have yet to come across a product that not only lists what battery source it requires but also the lifespan and the exact materials, so I was pleasantly surprised. Had I found this in a store and not online, this would have sealed my decision to get this vibrator. Below that it gives the included contents, the model name and number. Bswish was certainly through when they put all this together.

On the back they simply give rehash of the front description, this time listing it in multiple languages. Below that it gives the website once again. The base just gives warning, a barcode and a stamp that lets you know it was made in China.

When you open the box, you have to slide out a black compartment via a little half-moon shaped gap to get at the toy. I would lie product face up when you do this, to make sure none of the parts fall out when you do so. Inside the black compartment there is an insert holding a black drawstring pouch and the toy, both of which fit snuggly inside. When you remove the insert, you'll discover a general use manual that I didn't find particularly helpful other from the fact it tells you exactly what to clean it with and what lubricants to avoid using.

All in all, I think the box makes a good storage choice if you don't need absolute discretion. If you do, the bag the toy comes with is perfect as long as you don't want something with a lot of padding. I would also strongly recommend you use the pouch if you plan on keeping this with other toys, particularly if they are silicone or glass. With a bit of wrapping paper or a small gift bag, it be great as a gift.

One other thing to note: This does NOT come with a battery. It only requires one single A to run, however.

Personal comments

The Classic has quickly become my go-to clitoral vibrator. At first I was reluctant to try it, after reading how weak the vibrations are supposed to be, but I pleasantly surprised. Not all of my play sessions are about orgasm, and this is a perfect fit for those times. Once I hit a rhythm with this toy though, oh boy was it hard to hold myself back!
