This vibrator is better for solo play than it is for use during sex. It's a bit bulky for that and the location of the control button makes it tricky to use by yourself sometimes, let alone with a partner. Being made of glass, it's great for firm g-spot stimulation, but the pronounced ridges might not be everyone's cup of tea. It does not have a flared base and isn't recommended for anal play. But do feel free to take it into the pool or shower with you--it's completely waterproof. Another nice feature is the material. The glass is super slick, so a little bit of lube definitely goes a long way.

The Candy Cane is made out of tempered glass, and it is definitely a good-looking vibrator, especially in festive candy cane colors. It is super smooth and completely non-porous which means you can use whatever kind of lube suits your fancy. This is a nice feature in a waterproof vibe like the Candy Cane because it means you can use a silicone lube if you choose to use it in the shower or pool. The glass is also pretty heavy, and the weight is pretty good for a toy this size which I liked because it doesn't feel cheap. There is absolutely no scent whatsoever, and the glass transmits heat nicely. Coming from room temperature, it feels cool on your skin but warms up to skin temperature quickly, and you could use it for temperature play if you wanted.

From an aesthetic standpoint, the Candy Cane is a very pretty vibe. It definitely has some very nice design features, some of which are not my favorite but might be for other people. There are a few ridges near the bottom of the toy made out of one continuous swirl that wraps around the base of the toy. I didn't really like these ridges; the toy being made out of glass, they are very ridgey, but this might be a good thing for some people. You can definitely feel them which is not always the case with all toys, but I personally felt like they were too pronounced. The tip of the toy is pointed up and is a good shape for g-spot stimulation, especially because of the firmness of the glass. There is one push-button control that cycles through the 3 speeds, and you have to cycle through all 3 to turn it off.

The size might be a bit girthy for someone new to penetration, but it isn't excessive. Like I said, I don't like the ridges but this could easily be used as a clit vibe alone and it's good for that size wise. It's not very long and while I don't like the ridges for penetration, they are nice to run over your clit. It's a pretty discreetly sized toy and is easy to travel with. The control button is located on the bottom, so be cautious of it bumping into something in your suitcase and turning on accidentally.

The glass material is supposed to transmit vibrations very strongly, but they just aren't as much as I would prefer. I feel like they could be stronger. I don't think this is because of the materials though, and this is more due to my personal preference. I just prefer really strong vibrations, stronger than this, but I still like it all the same. The vibrations are located primarily at the base of the toy, but it's pretty good for g-spot stimulation because the glass does transfer the vibrations instead of absorbing them. It is very easy to figure out how to use. One button cycles through the 3 speeds, but the location is sometimes awkward depending on how you're holding it because it is directly on the bottom of the toy and requires some force to press.

This toy isn't that quiet at all. Glass transmits noise as well as vibrations. Under a blanket with a closed door though shouldn't be a problem. It is also very waterproof. I've used it multiple times in the shower with no problems.

This toy doesn't need very much special care, which is a nice feature. There's no need to worry too much about cleaning because the glass is completely non-porous and it's waterproof, so just wipe it down or rinse it off after use.

The box for this toy is actually really cute. It's very artsy and whimsical and does not scream vibrator or sex at all. It comes in a sturdy box made out of a sort of thin plastic that could be easily wrapped with a cute red, green and white pattern on it. It's very easy to open and understand, and it isn't excessively wrapped.
