Let me first say that over the years, my wife and I have used just about every type of massager/ vibrator currently on the market. We have been intrigued by the Hitachi style vibe for quite sometime, but could not overcome the sheer thought of paying so much for a massager. To my amazement one day while looking on Eden Fantasy, I stumbled across the Body Wand rechargeable massager. To put it simply, this Body Wand absolutely changed the atmosphere of our bedroom!

To begin, the Body Wand is a rechargeable massager that does exactly what you want it to. Not only can this personal massager be used in the bedroom, but also this product is perfect to massage away any aches or pains for the everyday. It can truly release any tension and leave you with an overall sense of relief and comfort. The Body Wand is perfect for solo use, but can also add excitement to any situation. Since it has multiple massage modes, it will not take you long to find the perfect personalized setting for you, which I will discuss in detail a little later. And one of the best features is that is massager is rechargeable so you will never have to mess with batteries or cords again!

The Body Wand rechargeable massager is mostly plastic, which has a very smooth texture and is created from food-grade materials. Another nice feature about the material used in this massager is that it is Hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free. Like most products in today’s market, the material is really safe to use so you shouldn’t have any worries about using this product. One thing is for sure, while holding the Body Wand in your hand, you can honestly feel the strength and durability of the material. This massager was made with a very thick and durable plastic. Unlike others that “feel” cheap and flimsy, this massager will leave you with a sense of pleasure in knowing that you purchased a very high quality toy/ massager.

Ok, now lets talk about the design and look of the Body Wand. To be honest, it is very esthetically pleasing to look at or hold in your hands. Let me make one thing clear, the design of this product was brilliant. Unlike other vibes/ massagers on the market, if someone accidently found this massager lying around your house, you probably would not have the immediate thought of running out of the country because of embarrassment. :) I’m not saying to leave it out of the coffee table, but this Body Wand is designed like many massagers you might see being purchased is department stores. So if you are ever worried about others seeing what you so desperately try to keep hidden, this Body Wand is the perfect fit for you!

Actually discussing design, The Body Wand is basically a two toned massager that is mostly white with a very soft and well done violet. The overall shape of the massager fits perfectly in your hand. It is about 8 inches in length with a circumference of 5 and ¾ inches. The handle portion of the massager tapers in the middle so it fits into the couture of the palm seamlessly. The massager portion or head of wand is made of a very high quality soft touch plastic that has a very velvety touch. The tip is very rounded so no matter what body part is being massaged, you will stay totally comfortable in the process. Now this product does have multiple massage modes so you can actually change the end attachments for different and increased sensations and these can be purchased separately.

Now the thing that separates the Body Wand rechargeable massager from many other vibes on the market, is the neck of the Wand. It allows for the end piece or head of the massager to be able to bend and move around the curves of your body. That little give or extra motion can really take the intensity of the vibrations to a whole other level. Again, this product was designed with you and your comfort in mind!

In the center of the Body wand, you will see a dial. This is how you not only power on and off the massager, but you can also very the speed and intensity of the vibrations but either turning up or down the dial. It is very simple to use, but at the same time, very effective. Like mentioned, it has varies speeds and intensities which will allow you to select the right intensity for any situation. Speaking from a personal level, this is one of the most powerful massagers my wife and I have ever used! To many times a certain vibe may be just ok, but lacking that final punch. Well, the Body Wand does one better by containing the knock out blow! Actually for my wife, the Body Wand gets too intense. She seems to like about the medium level intensity, which in most vibes would be turned up all the way. That alone tells me this vibe would work for just about anyone! When my wife teases me with the Body Wand, I too cannot bear the max intensity without shaking with pleasure! With this being said, you may think that because it is so powerful on high that it may be mind numbing loud. To our amazement, this massager is actually pretty quite. It me not be the quietest vibe we own, but it is towards the top of the list, especially considering the multiple intensity levels.



Charging the Unit:

Charging is very simple for this product. Overall, the charger looks very similar to an ordinary cell phone charger. On nice feature for travel in that the prongs of the charger can fold so the charger can be stored safely without ever worrying about bending or breaking them off.

To charge, located on the back of the wand, is the location in which to attach the end of the cord. Again, it is very similar to attaching a charger cord into a cell phone. All you have to do is charge for about a half and hour and you are ready to go. The normal charge lasts for about an hour of enjoyment. There is also a charger indicator located below the power dial on the front so you know when it is charging. If connected correctly, the charger indicator will be green.

Surprisingly, as well thought out as this product is, the one lacking piece of the puzzle is care and maintenance. Nowhere on the box, or inside the packaging will you find instructions on how to care for this massager. For the first time, I was unable to find any care or cleaning information. From previous experiences with toys, I just do what I know is safe. To clean, I use a moist cloth with mild soap to clean the head of the massager. Considering this product is rechargeable and has the place to attach the charger cord, it IS NOT WATERPROOF. This product is not listed as being waterproof and therefore submerging in water with sort out your massager. The body wand does come with a very soft cloth pouch in which you can use to store your personal massager. Just make sure that the head of the massager is fully dry before placing in the pouch.

Overall the packaging is very nice. The overall look and design of the box is very professional and welcoming. The graphics are done nicely and the photo located on the front of the box is relative to the actual size of the Body Wand. Overall it is packaged very nicely and fits very snug inside to minimize damage during the shipment process.

Like I mentioned before, we always wanted a massager like this, but would not pay the price for the Hitachi. I am so glad that we gave the Body Wand a try. Now it is the ONLY vibe/ massager we use! I really wish we just found the Body Wand rechargeable massager sooner! We have used the Body Wand countless times, and every time, it delivers! Truly breath taking and affordable!
