I love innovative toys. Something new and revolutionary is a treat, especially when the product works as well as, or better than, advertised. The G-Ki g-spot vibrator from Je Joue is such a toy.
The G-Ki comes elegantly packaged in a black box tied closed with a black ribbon and the Je Joue logo on the lid. Inside the G-Ki is nestled in a plastic tray. Below this tray is an instruction manual, power adapter, and warranty information.
I received the black G-Ki, and it’s a lovely matte color. The silicone has a bit of a drag to the surface but is overall smooth to the touch. There’s a small seam visible that runs around the toy, but it can’t be felt with your finger.
This vibrator is 9” long with an insertable length of 5”. The head is 1 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" long. Below the head, the neck narrows to 1” before widening. At the other end, the G-Ki is 1 1/2" wide.
What makes the G-Ki unique is its ability to be adjusted at 2 separate points, one below the small head and the other at the base of the neck. These buttons are under the silicone but can be felt and seen. They allow you to bend the head and neck to the right angle to achieve perfect g-spot and clitoral stimulation.
To adjust the G-Ki, start with the button close to the head. It’s easiest, especially if you’re alone, to make an adjustment to the amount of bend and then try it to see if the angle is hitting your g-spot right. If not, you can bend the head more and try again.
Once the tip hits your g-spot you can adjust the neck curve by pressing the lower button. You can do this while the G-Ki is inserted. When the bend is correct for your anatomy, the head will be bumping against your g-spot and the rest of the toy will nestle between your labia and on your clitoris. The G-Ki is not meant for thrusting, but rather rocking back and forth or around in small circles for maximum stimulation.

Both the steady vibrations and patterns travel well from end to end of the G-Ki, making for a fantastic vibratory experience internally and externally. The vibrations are rumbly, deep, and simply phenomenal. The G-Ki is also very quiet – it makes less noise than a vibrating cell phone and can’t be heard under the covers.
To go back to a previous vibration pattern or steady vibration, press -. The G-Ki can be turned off by pressing and holding – for 2 seconds.

The G-Ki is made of 100% silicone, so it’s hypoallergenic, phthalates-free, latex-free, and non-porous. It can be cleaned by washing with antibacterial soap and warm water and patted dry. The G-Ki should be stored out of direct sunlight and away from other toys. It’s best to store it in its box with the charger and warranty. Only water-based lubricant is safe to use.
The G-Ki is waterproof, so it can safely be used in the shower or bath.

Experience
I tried the G-Ki out alone first. I had a bit of trouble trying to adjust the curves when it was inserted, so I did the adjustment of the tip and then put it in to see how it felt. I had the curve on the head about as far as it would go, and I could tell when I hit the spot. The neck was easier to configure, and when I got it curved correctly I powered it up.
Wow! sums it up. I took it to the highest vibration level and the vibrations felt like they were rumbling through me. Rocking it back and forth with my hand really targeted my g-spot. I went through the pulsing patterns, and this is one of the few toys I’ve used where I liked the pulsing better than steady vibration. The pulses, combined with gentle rocking, were incredible.
It worked well in a seated position as well, and I could rock back and forth to get more clitoral pressure while still stimulating my g-spot. It took a while to climax, but the sensation was so nice I would have liked it to last longer.
I did notice that the G-Ki really stayed in place. I was able to change position several times and it didn’t slip out slide around.
I wanted to try this with my husband as well. The way it stays in and stimulates, coupled with its smaller diameter neck, made me think this might work somewhat like the We-vibe during intercourse. My husband, of course, was happy to oblige. It didn’t work badly that way at all, although it’s considerably bigger.
My husband also had another idea for this that worked well. He had me hogtied and he put in the G-Ki, set it to one of the pulse settings that I liked, and proceeded to have fun. This worked a lot better than the Hitachi, and since it stayed in place so well, I couldn’t get away from the sensations, no matter how much I squirmed. That also caused the right rocking motion to make for an incredible session.
I really love the G-Ki. It’s truly amazing and versatile!

I don't just still like the G-Ki - I love it! This has turned out to be one of the vibrators I have that gets overused, if that's possible.
The best aspect of the G-Ki is that it's hands-free. Whether rocking on a chair, having it in while changing positions, or in as a teaser when I can't remove it, the G-Ki excels. I also like how it stays in well and in the right place if another vaginal toy is used and really presses on the g-spot. While I like the high, steady vibration, I also really like the long pulse mode as well.
I love that this is rechargeable. It doesn't take long to charge, and it holds its full charge over the time I'm using it (under 2 hours), so there's no lessening of vibrations at all.
My biggest worry with the G-Ki, and it's not exclusive to this toy, is that I will overcharge it. I always make sure to charge this if needed the day I'm going to use it so I don't forget to unplug it.
I couldn't recommend this one more - it's utterly fantastic!

Do you prefer old school turn dial straight vibs or new school twirly gadgets?

I'm not very well informed on the evolution of vibrators from old school to new school but turn dial straight vibes don't scream old school to me, they scream cheap! When I think of old school sex toys it's more Hitachi or traditional phallic dildos. Either way I think new school vibrators and toys are awesome just because the shapes and features are dictated by function, stimulation and performance. That's more exciting than a hyper-realistic replica of a penis... though that has its own appeal.

It makes this odd popping noise when you change the settings. Mine hasn't broken or anything, but I'm very careful when I change settings because the popping noise concerns me. I've never had it get stuck on a setting. It changes really easily.

I have both but there may be something wrong with my Mimi becuase, to me, it's incredibly weak and buzzy. The G-ki is definitely stronger and a little deeper..

I haven't made my Mimi review yet, but in my opinion it's a mix-breed between buzzy and rumbly. If I use it for too long of a period it's buzzy, but I tend to get off before that happens so I don't know. Your response was helpful stronger and deeper is good since I can adjust the settings to where I like. I'll have to see, but I think I'm leaning toward saving for it as my next big purchase.
