Precious metal gems vibrator - traditional vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by LittleBoPeep

For me the Precious Metal Gems is best used for stimulating the clit and the inside of the vagina. Although I tried it anally it was more painful than pleasurable, which is probably due to the girth of the toy. I also love the feeling that this vibe provides when it is rubbed on my nipples. It's fantastic! Because of it's size and girth I probably would not recommend the Precious Metal Gems for beginners. Nor would I recommend it for travel since it is anything but discreet (unless of course you said that it was your very short pimp cane.)

The Precious Metal Gems is made of shiny plastic, giving the toy a smooth and resistance-free feel. It glides wonderfully in and out of my vagina, even without having to use lube. The material doesn't have any taste or smell to it at all. If you enjoy temperature play, then I would recommend taking the batteries out and putting it in the freezer for a few minutes. It is absolutely delightful!

As far as the design of this toy goes, I didn't find it aesthetically pleasing. In fact, I think it was downright tacky with it's orangey-gold color and it's enormous fake gemstone on the bottom. Luckily, the Precious Metal Gem's performance redeemed it. The straight shape of the toy made it really easy to glide it in and out of my vagina, but this toy isn't a great pick if you're looking to hit that oh so elusive G-spot. The Precious Metal Gems is 8" long and, needless to say, it can easily hit the back wall of my vagina so I have to keep an eye on how much I'm putting in there. I thought that the 4" diameter would be a bit too much for me, but I was happy to find out that it was just right.

The Precious Metal Gems is operated by twisting a dial on the bottom of the toy. To turn the vibe on and to intensify the vibrations, twist the dial to the left. To lower the intensity of the vibrations and to turn the vibe off, twist it to the right. One strange little quirk that I noticed with the controls is that when you turn the dial to about three quarters of the way, the vibrations suddenly jump to a much higher intensity. This toy takes 2 C batteries, which are not included. Another thing that anyone who gets this toy should know is that there is a piece of paper inside of the vibrator that you are NOT supposed to throw away. As strange as it sounds, apparently this piece of paper helps to "maximize vibrating level." When used in the shower, the Precious Metal Gems works exactly as it should. I also wanted to warn everyone that this toy is very loud. There is no discreet way to use it if anyone else is around, so if you don't live alone then this is probably not a good pick for you.

This toy can be cleaned by either washing it with soap and water or by cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol. Luckily, the Precious Metal Gems is compatible with a lot of different types of lubes which include water-based, oil-based, and silicone-based. As far as storage goes, I just store it in the package that it came in.

The box that the toy came in was clear with a bunch of white and purple circles all over it. It also has a picture of the crystal gem cap on the bottom of the front side. On the back there is a list of features that the toy has, as well as some important information about the vibrator, such as what type of batteries it takes and safety tips. The box is ideal for storage because it has a plastic insert that the vibe can sit in and then you just slide that piece into the box. This prevents the vibe from rolling around and getting damaged.
