Imagine it is mid-summer. The temperatures outside are scorching. Cool yourself and your partner down while heating things up with the Touché Ice Big. If you enjoy sensation play, particularly with ice, then this is a toy you will love. As the vibrations of the included bullet stimulate you and melt the ice, your partner's lips are sure to follow to help clean up any trail left behind. Even when alone, this toy can definitely provide relief from the heat...or whatever else ails you.

The Touché Ice is part vibrator, part ice cube. It just sounds fun, doesn't it?



To use, you must fill the base with water, then place the top over it (remove the bullet first). Next, the Touché Ice needs to spend some time in the freezer. This will allow the ice cube to form and attach to the top section. After the ice cube has formed, remove the toy from the freezer, carefully peel off the base, and place the bullet in the hole on top of the toy.

The Touché Ice is made up of three parts. There is a base, which will be used to house the ice before use. Then there is the top section, which acts as a handle for the ice, and also holds the third part of the toy, the bullet vibe, in place. The base and top are both silicone, and thus a very safe material. The bullet is your basic plastic bullet. The top has a ribbed texture, should you wish to use this part of the toy to massage any body parts. The base is smooth on the inside, which will lead to the ice cube that is housed there being smooth as well.

The design of the Touché Ice is slightly reminiscent of that of a Fabergé Egg, in that it is an egg-shape resting on a base. It's not nearly as beautiful, of course, but it does have a certain charm. Shots Media, the maker of the toy, have really come up with a unique sex toy design that I have not seen anywhere else.



As mentioned, the base is where the ice forms, attaching itself to a silicone extension on the top section.





It is available in three colors: blue, pink, and silver.

The length of the Touché Ice is 4 inches, and the circumference is 5 inches.

Generally, I would say that this toy is not suitable for travel, due to the need for a freezer in which to create the ice cube. If you are visiting somewhere with a refrigerator though, this will not be a concern.

The vibrations in the Touché Ice come from a bullet that runs on three watch batteries (included). It would almost be worth the price for the bullet alone. It is turned on by pressing the button on top. The bullet has a variety of vibration strengths and patterns. Its first three are a steady low, medium, and high humming vibration. Then there is a pattern that starts strong, then drops off to nothing before repeating itself. The next two patterns are pulsating - first a very strong, consistent pulse, and second, a pulse pattern with brief pauses. Next is a combination of all the previous patterns. This is followed by a powering down back through the first three patterns from high down to low before cutting off. This is my first toy that runs on watch batteries, and I was amazed by its strength and versatility. Even with its strength though, the bullet is not extremely loud once it is in the silicone home.

The Touché Ice is waterproof, but do keep in mind that if you use this toy in the tub or shower, the ice will melt rapidly.

As this is meant for external use as a teasing toy only, it does not need much in the way of care and maintenance. It can be rinsed under the faucet with soap and water, washed with toy cleaner, or even boiled, if you so desire. Just remember to remove the bullet first. This is done by pressing on the part of the top that the ice cube attaches to when in use.

For storage, I keep my Touché Ice in the freezer so that the ice will be ready for the next time I want to play. It isn't so obvious a sex toy that anyone would really question its placement in the freezer, other than to wonder why you are making a single Popsicle.

My toy arrived in a white box featuring a splash of blue water on the front. I would have included a picture, except my box apparently suffered some damage in transit. The toy, however, was untouched. If in one piece, the box is very classy-looking, and could be used as a gift box. It does say that it is a "Vibrating Ice Massager" on the box, so it is not entirely discreet. The box could be used for storage, but as I said, I just keep mine in the freezer.

There is a package insert that mentions that you can get creative with what liquids you freeze in your Touché Ice. Any sort of juice, or even chocolate sauce, is a safe bet for use with the toy (although these will make things a little stickier for clean-up). Of course, if you use such sweet treats, you should avoid getting these sugary liquids in the vaginal area to avoid infections.

Special note - The wording on the first picture - "Water, cold, and time" - comes from an episode of the 1990s sitcom Mad About You. A big deal is made of the main character buying ice when all you need to make ice at home is "water, cold, and time."

I found that the vibrations from the bullet do cause the ice to melt very quickly - in my case, in about five minutes. The ice will last longer if you use the toy without the bullet turned on. On the plus side, the silicone top does make it much easier to hold on to the ice without freezing your fingers.

The bullet vibe, as I mentioned, is amazing, and the vibrations do travel through the toy and into the ice. The bullet can also be used alone, as I have on occasion.

The ice plus the vibrations had me shivering and quivering as I teased my erogenous zones. Yes, it did give me a brr-gasm, and I plan to have many more in the future.
