BRRRRRRRRRR!

This toy was a bit of a disappointment. I was really hoping it would last longer than it did. The ice melted so fast and the batteries didn't hold out as long as I had hoped.

I would not recommend this vibe for beginners. It is good for clitoral and nipple stimulation. It can be used for solo use and for couples. This toy is best used for people that enjoy cold sensory products.

I say this toy is for more advanced users. The pieces to this toy are silicone and the vibe is hard plastic. There is no smell or taste, but you need to make ice for the toy to work as it's meant to work.

I liked the design of this toy. I would not recommend this toy for travel. This is only because you have to freeze water to even use it. It takes 4 hours to freeze so you really need to think ahead and prepare if you are going to be using it. The size (I thought) was big, but the ice melted surprisingly fast!

Functions / Performance / Controls

There is one small vibe that you place in the back of the ice egg once frozen. It has a tiny pink plastic button to turn it on. I found it a little difficult to maneuver once my hands were wet or cold. The tiny vibe packs quite a punch and is very strong. It is a little on the loud side. I wouldn't recommend it for water use since it would surely melt the ice.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is quite easy to care for. The bottom (white part) of this toy is just to make the ice in. You place the blue (top part) on the water. You do NOT freeze this product with the vibe inside it. Once frozen, the white silicone bottom piece peels away revealing the ice. Place the vibe in the back and away you go!

Personal comments

I was quite surprised at how fast the ice melted. This is not for the squeamish. It is very intense and cold!

Experience

The toy is easy to hold and control. My boyfriend totally enjoyed using the toy on me. The batteries that this vibe needs are like watch batteries. It takes 3 batteries to work the vibe, and they run out quite quickly.
Follow-up commentary
Still not a big fan of the Ice. I have removed the bullet (and use it alone) and love the intensity of it. The only thing I don't love about it is it takes batteries that are hard to find and expensive to replace.

How low is your freezer set? If you turn it up it will likely not take as long. For me, it doesn't take more than 2 hours.

It's a lot colder than I imagined it would be. We're talking possible frostbite! Lol for beginners I would recomend a gel or oil that is both tasty and warm or cool when blowed upon. I concider a beginner someone who has never toyed with sensory play.

    • I was checking out this product and told my friend about it. Her husband suggested (as a joke Im sure) "Hey, make koolaid pops with it!" lmao.

      Could this be done and not damage the toy? Adding a little flavor into the foreplay might not be such a bad idea! Although, of course, with the sugar issue-it wouldn't be a great idea to use in your nether regions lol. And it might get a little sticky, sure. But, kinda sounded like a fun idea!

      Any ideas on this?

      Sugar + vagina = yeast infection or UTI. So, no flavoring, or maybe ethanol based non-sweetened cooking flavoring.
    • Alright, so, I'm going to say this; some people can get away with sugars down there, and some can't. I know several who can get down with sugary things around their ladyparts and it doesn't bother them, but in mostly, sugar + vaginal area = uti/yeast infection holds true.

      I also know there's sugar-free koolaid out there so if you wanted to risk it, you could...

      But I'm not sure if it would hurt or stain the toy. Sounds like a judgement call as to what would work with your body, as well as what you want to risk with the toy. You could spot-test the koolaid on it to see if there's any weird stuff going on, though.
