A bullet vibrator is a small bullet-shaped vibrator that can be used for direct stimulation of the clitoris and other very sensitive spots. The best use for this vibrator is to stimulate the clit. The L'amour bullet is PU coated ABS plastic. PU stands for polyurethane. On EdenFantasys' safety scale, PU coated plastic rates a 7. It is phthalates free, easy to clean, extremely rigid and carries vibrations well. There are no smells detected upon opening the package. The toy is hard and smooth, both of which may appeal to beginners and advanced users. The toy does have a seam that runs around the middle of the bullet. This may be a negative to some sensitive users. It was easily felt with the hand but not while the bullet was inserted.

The bullet is small and easy to hold on to. The design is exactly what one would expect a bullet to look like. It measures 3" long and is attached to a cord that is slightly over 2' in length. Since the bullet is attached to the remote, when using with a partner they have to be very close, which may be a turn off for some. The size can be a positive or a negative. Some beginners prefer larger bullets and some advanced users prefer small bullets or vice versa. The toy is small enough that it could be put into a purse or other small bag but with the way that it looks it isn't discreet at all. It is suitable for travel, but should be placed inside of a bag if you want don't want others to know what you are carrying.

The L'amour bullet has 8 vibrations from low-low to high-high. There are no vibration patterns available with this bullet. The vibrations are felt over the entire bullet. The different levels range from a low-low, where the intensity and sound are pretty low to a high-high where the intensity is only matched by how loud the toy has gotten at this point. The low vibrations on levels 1-3 go from low-low to low-med to low-high. These levels have buzzy vibrations but are on the low side for sound. Levels 4-5 are the medium vibrations and a little higher sound. The intensity is only slightly higher than the low levels, but the sound is almost twice as loud as the lower levels. When you arrive at levels 6-8 the intensity, as well as the sound, has kicked into a higher gear. While the intensity can still be quite buzzy, there is more power behind it. The sound, however, is a problem when you get to these levels. Any user would be hard pressed to hide this much noise through a closed door, so they shouldn't even try to hide this sound under a thick blanket.

It is advisable to clean all toys before and after use to ensure that they are usable for the maximum amount of time possible. The bullet is easily cleaned with simply soap and water, since there are no nooks or crannies for germs to hide in. Toy sprays and wipes can be used as well. When needing to use lubricants it is advisable to stick with water-based lubes. The bullet would be best stored in a bag to keep it separate from other toys.

The toy was packaged in a clear plastic box that could be used for storage if it had been sturdier. The only instructions provided were for battery insertion and were adequate since most users are aware of how a bullet can be used. The package is very flimsy and probably won't last long.

The bullet worked well on the highest levels but was too loud to be used when others were awake. It could even be heard while inserted, even though that isn't typically why I use bullets. The lower levels were very buzzy, and if held long enough could make your hand go numb. The best way that I can think to describe the noise is the sound you hear when someone is cutting grass outside your window. The bullet, when used on higher levels, has the power that is very enjoyable for me, but the loudness of it is a big turnoff and would cause me not to use this as much. I would definitely not use this particular bullet if I lived in a dorm or roommate type situation: there is no chance in hiding this noise from the people you live with.
