A really beautiful, classy, well-considered product that shows such attention to detail that its astonishing. Beautiful packaging, a powerful vibe, 100% silicone construction, the magnetic charger. MY GOD - what a GREAT combination. Aside from individual preference to width, it's difficult to find criticism.

Use

So it looks like the 'Next Generation' of sex toys has beamed aboard. The G-Ki is a vibrator, Jim, but not as we know it - sleek, sexy and boldly going where no vibe has gone before.

A sculptural symphony of silicone, the G-Ki is roughly the size and shape of a banana - but that's where the similarity ends (well, except for what my wife and I got up to that weekend in Cancun.) It's quite simply a different type of vibrator - one that unlocks a whole new galaxy of possibilities.

The G-Ki works on two pleasurable dimensions. As a vibrator, its long, banana-shaped shaft buzzes with incredible intensity. But with two adjustments, the whole shape of the vibe changes and its erotic possibilities expand - it literally curves back upon itself to offer intense g-spot stimulation.

Material / Texture

G-Ki is made from 100% silicone - and boy, doesn't it show it. This vibrator is a thing of BEAUTY with a slick, soft skin over a hard plastic shell that combines both the rigidity and squishiness that are contradictorily compulsory for a perfectly exceptional sex toy.

Silicone means one thing - a clean, cool toy that you can sterilize perfectly. Given that the G-Ki is intended for g-spot stimulation and insertion, that's ideal.




Design / Shape / Size

The G-Ki is a simply beautiful product, and the perfect size and perfect shape for the 'average' vagina (if there is such a thing!) It's certainly not too large, but does offer a nice 'filling' sensation and the sheer power of the vibrations makes up for those who want something larger.

It's not ridiculously big, though - in fact size queens might crave more. The kick is definitely in the vibrations, not the girth, so those who love the sensation of being stuffed might wind up underwhelmed.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Simplicity is sinfully realized with the G-Ki. There are just two controls - a + button and a - button that turn the vibe on and off. Hold the - button to turn it off. Press the + button to ramp up the powerful vibrations.

What's even better, the two buttons are metal, and magnetic - they serve as the connector for the wall charger, which clips on and recharges the POWERFUL battery.

And powerful it IS. A couple of presses of the + button engage the warp engine and the vibrations blow anything battery powered out of the water. It rivals wall-socket vibes for intensity, with a relentless buzz that blows minds.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is the perfect sex toy material, but the battery and controls of the G-Ki mean you can't just toss it into the dishwasher. However, you can cleanse it with bleach, soap and boiling water and the silicone surface mean you are then reassured that this toy's safe to live long and prosper through many and varied sexual adventures.

Packaging

Do you remember the best Christmas present you ever got? I bet it didn't come in NEARLY as nice a package as the G-Ki.

Seriously, this is an expensive toy so you EXPECT a beautiful packaging, but even so it's tough to explain just HOW gorgeous the whole package is.

A purple box, then a ribbon-tied wooden cabinet, velvet-lined. Seriously, I wanted to shove my wife's jewelery in it, it was so nice. The packaging is a SERIOUSLY class act and shows just what thought went into the entire product.

Personal comments

"Be careful, it can break your vagina!"

That was my wife's comment.

"Use with caution," she clarified. "It can put your vagina out of commission." She was referring to our initial outing with the G-Ki, which left her loving the intensity of the vibrations, but being a little less enthusiastic about how I used it on her.

Experience

There are two buttons on the shaft of the G-Ki which allow you to double it in on itself, in a C-shape which is perfect for dual g-spot and clitoral stimulation. HOWEVER, when a husband (ahem, such as myself) uses it on a wife (such as mine) he needs to be careful because the combination of vibrations can be INTENSE.

In order to intensify the feelings, I'd been 'lifting' the c-shaped vibe to maximise its contact zone - but my wife ended up complaining that I was 'fishhooking' her - literally lifting her up with each yank!

A second criticism - my wife admitted that as a 'self pleasure aficionado' and having had a child she likes large toys and did admit that she would have LOVED for the G-Ki to be just a size bigger. However, the sheer power of the vibrations made up for it. She LOVED their intensity.

Hi Minxy - The vibrations kind of run across the whole thing, so I guess it's not a pinpoint thing - but it did hit my wife's clit pretty spot-on.

Hi Adriana! I don't know if ours is any different to yours, but my wife says it's REALLY powerful compared to others she's tried. Maybe she's more sensitive (although funnily enough, she actually claims not to have a 'steel clit.')

Rating the "Vroom" is very subjective even though they tell us not to be but.....its inevitable. That said, I have to agree that mine was a 3/5. I suppose it would help to put it into perspective to know what other toys your wife has tried that she feels are less than this.

  • old school or new school?
    • Do you prefer old school turn dial straight vibs or new school twirly gadgets?
    • I'm not very well informed on the evolution of vibrators from old school to new school but turn dial straight vibes don't scream old school to me, they scream cheap! When I think of old school sex toys it's more Hitachi or traditional phallic dildos. Either way I think new school vibrators and toys are awesome just because the shapes and features are dictated by function, stimulation and performance. That's more exciting than a hyper-realistic replica of a penis... though that has its own appeal.

    • It makes this odd popping noise when you change the settings. Mine hasn't broken or anything, but I'm very careful when I change settings because the popping noise concerns me. I've never had it get stuck on a setting. It changes really easily.

      As long as you make sure you're fully compressing the buttons to release the joints (and not muscling it from one position to another), it's a really sturdy toy.

    • I haven't made my Mimi review yet, but in my opinion it's a mix-breed between buzzy and rumbly. If I use it for too long of a period it's buzzy, but I tend to get off before that happens so I don't know. Your response was helpful stronger and deeper is good since I can adjust the settings to where I like. I'll have to see, but I think I'm leaning toward saving for it as my next big purchase.
