Catch the Wave!

This product is a decent product in general, but is much too costly. If money is not an object for you and you want something as a warm-up or you like subtle stimulation, this is probably good for you. However, if you are someone who likes strong vibrations or lots of texture, look elsewhere.

Use

This item is generally good. Not great, but good. However, if you enjoy multiple functions, texture and power, this item is certainly a let-down. It's also easy to get confused by the material thinking that it's pure silicone, which it isn't. It's also a pain to clean and really isn't worth the money. In most adult stores, this item costs sixty dollars or more. In my opinion, it isn't worth more than fourty dollars. It is great for a warm up or tease and it is very sturdy. I can say that it's a decent product. Sadly, it's also a boring product.

Material / Texture

This product didn't seem to have a strong odor and vanished after a couple washings unless you really tried to sniff it. And who does that??? The package says it is made of silicone which leads you to believe it is made of PURE silicone. Which, it's not. It's made of TPR silicone which is porous and can trap bacteria and other nasties. A condom us recommended, especially if this item is shared. The texture is smooth and has a little bit of a squish to it. The product is firm and not floppy, so this "squish" is a surface feel. It has some larger curves in the design, but the material itself really has no texture. It does seem strong, however and long-lasting.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is pretty simplistic with a simple, yet slightly bulbous shaft and large ribs (waves) along the underside of the shaft. There is a smooth, dolphin-shaped clitoral attachment that is active mostly with the dolphins nose. The size is larger than the average penis, but I wouldn't call this a LARGE vibrator. It certainly is filling. Sadly, the shape really doesn't add to the stimulation and the main thing you feel is the size of the product rather than the waves that are supposed to make this product unique. There is a control pad at the base of the product, giving it a big of length and weight. This made it a lot easier to control the movement of the shaft and maintain easy to reach and operate controls. Due to it's overall size, it's not ideal for travel or discreet use.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The shaft is a gyrating shaft which doesn't have a lot of play in the movement. The gyration is slight and doesn't really hit the right spots. However, every woman is different and some may find that this hits the perfect spots. It didn't for me and there is no flexibility in the shaft to maneuver the vibe into a position that DOES hit the right spot. The clitoral attachment is your standard bullet-style vibe hidden in a TRP silicone dolphin. These were pretty sufficient vibrations and were the best feature of the product. The nose of the dolphin DOES get a little flimsy and due to that you have to push a bit harder to get the full vibe effect. I found this bothersome. This product IS fairly quiet. Which would make it ideal for people with nosy roommates or anyone else who contends with listening ears.

The controls are much like any other duel massager. There is a panel with LED lights in a left and right row. One side controls the speed of the shaft gyration, the other controls the speed/strength of the clitoral attachment and in the middle there is a button that changes the direction of the gyration. This is pretty easy to understand as far as operating goes. The batteries, however are in a little compartment that must be removed at the base of the handle. The compartment slides out and there's a plastic encasement for 3 AA batteries. These seemed to drain fast, and I can't imagine why, because this product had very little power.

Care and Maintenance

As stated before, this product says it's silicone on the package and is in fact TPR silicone. This means that is IS porous and should be cleaned before and after with a mild soap or toy cleaner and WARM water. And of course, a condom is recommended for safety and easy clean-up. Water-based lubricants are the best for this product to ensure it doesn't melt or degrade the material. I used the box it came in to store it, however if you have a satin pouch to store it in or another safe plastic box, that should be fine. Just be sure to store it away from other jelly, TPR or any other material that could "melt" or degrade the vibe.

Packaging

This came in a plastic clam-shell package. I used it for storage, however it's not pleasing to the eye and isn't really pretty enough to be it's own gift-wrap. There's not a lot of information supplied, besides a little insert in the battery compartment that instructs you on how to insert the batteries. There's a little information on the packaging slip, but nothing that is really useful. I just threw it away.

Personal comments

For someone who likes a good tease or likes a lower intensity vibe to warm up for other toys or playtime activities, you may be in love with this product. I myself do not like super strong vibrations, and felt like the shaft was practically useless. I did find the clitoral attachment was just right. Not too strong, not too weak. It all depends on what you seek in a toy. But I really believe it's not worth the price it is sold for.
Follow-up commentary
I rarely even bother with this product. It's much too large for me and doesn't do much. It seems to make me feel stretched and odd more than good, and I usually just opt for a toy I love. I have not had a REAL orgasm with this, but that's not to say someone else can't. It just doesn't suit me. It's decent quality, I just need other things from my toys. I still don't think it's worth as much as they charge for it at ANY place I see it sold.
