California Exotic has created a different and somewhat safer option in rabbit vibrators, with the Waterproof Snow Bunny. Though it is a traditional type rabbit vibrator, this one is not jelly but TPR silicone. The feel is similar, but the TPR is an improvement over a long history of jelly vibrators, and it is phthalates free. This vibrator also has no scent, even on opening. It comes wrapped in plastic, and packaged in a box decorated in images of the toy.

The Snow Bunny gets its name from not only the rabbit with ears and paws to tickle the clit, but from the simulated fur texturing of the material, and the choice of a white and clear color scheme. The tip of the toy is the only realistic portion of the toy. It is molded in what looks like a pattern of real skin to form the head of a penis. Between the bunnies furry paws and ears, there is a nubby texture to the clitoral stimulator. This choice in texture is closest to that of a human tongue. The two ticking appendages of the rabbit can be positioned, so that they both stimulate the clitoris in a very unique way.

The insertable portion of the Snow Bunny is quite small in diameter. The tip is about an inch across, with the widest part of the shaft still being under an inch and a half thick. There is an insertable length of five and a half inches. The measurements make this a great choice for beginners or those in search of a less intimidating rabbit vibe. The TPR material of the toy tends to pull away from the components easily. At the tip it is a flexible but a solid piece of TPR, below this there is just a TPR coating over the beads and motor of the vibrator. This layer is very thin and directly over the rotating beads. Make sure to be careful with this section of the toy if you have sharp nails at all to avoid an accidental puncture.

Three AA batteries power this toy. They are inserted easily through the bottom of the toy that is accessed by unscrewing the base. There is a string attached to make pulling the battery compartment out a little easier. There is a rubber O ring on the base that makes this toy completely waterproof. This section of the toy is hard plastic, and has a smooth texture. On the flat control panel there is a dedicated on/off button. When the toy is "on" there is a red indicator light that shows up. After this is pressed to turn the toy on, then one of three functions for each section of the toy can be selected. The functions of the rotating beads in the shaft are forward, backward, and a combination of the two. The rotation can be felt directly over the three rows of beads, and in the actual movement that occurs through out the shaft of the vibe. There are then eight speeds to select from with the rotation motion that is chosen.

For the vibration function of the rabbit there is a steady vibration, a vibration with a noted pause, and buzz buzz type vibration. Again, there are eight speeds to choose from with this function as well. To change the speed, or to start and stop the functions, there are two sets of directional arrows. The right hand side controls the vibration, while the left takes care of the rotation. If you miss a speed you would like, it is simple to go back to it with out cycling through all the speeds.

Even with both functions on, using the maximum speeds there is not a noted decrease in power. It is also a very quiet multi-functional toy. The numerous amounts of speeds, means that there is a ton of choices, and variety with this toy. It can be used with water or silicone based lubricants, and if it is to be shared a condom is always best. Since this toy is waterproof, cleaning is less of a hassle. The whole toy can be submerged and washed with warm water, and an antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. Make sure to remove the batteries before storing the toy.

This toy is smaller in girth which can be a nice quality, and change of pace from thicker toys. I love that it is waterproof and can be used anywhere. My main concern is the longevity of the toy, due to how thin the material is that covers the beads. If it continues to hold up, it is a great deal!
