Please let me start off by saying that this is my first actual "egg" purchase. I don’t know much about any other
vibrating eggs out there so I’ll tell you exactly what I think about this one in particular. So, here goes.
When I removed my
chocolates egg and controller from the box, I thought it was a really cute egg. It is kind of an iridescent brown and very sexy looking. I couldn't wait to try it out!
The controller has 4 speeds with an up and down arrow to select the speed you would like. There is a red light by the numbers 1 2 3 and 4 to let you know which speed you are on. The controller as well as the egg are all supposed to be waterproof which I personally think is GREAT! I have not tried out this feature but, plan to in the future.
The egg is smooth and a size you would expect from an egg. The same size as several I have seen in stores and such. There is a seam on the egg close to the center that might be a problem for some. It's not a huge seam or anything, it’s pretty smooth but, it might cause some irritation for some. I don’t know if other eggs have this type of "seam" or not so I thought it is worth mentioning.
The motor on this egg gives you a quiet relaxing type of vibration on the number 1 setting. Probably suitable for anyone to use on this setting. The motor gets progressively louder the higher the speed setting goes so, while setting number 2 gives you a little stronger vibration, it is also a bit louder. This continues all the way up to the last setting, number 4 which gives you a good strong vibration and my personal favorite speed setting but, it is also the loudest setting. I don’t think it would be audible through a closed door but, if you want to be quiet you should probably keep it on the lower settings.
Me personally, I love this egg. I just wish it didn't have that seam in it because that makes me wonder if water would eventually enter into this seam even though it is supposed to be waterproof. I really hope that is not the case because, this egg is pretty, it’s relatively quiet and it’s a decent price. It’s one of my favorites!
I have now owned this little beauty for about four months total and it is still going strong with no problems whatsoever! I am happy to report that the finish on this egg has maintained its luster even though I had originally had my suspicions about it wearing off. I have kept it in a cloth bag though to keep it from bumping into things and nicking it. As far as the cord goes, I have had no problems with it either under normal conditions. I am careful not to tug on it very hard but, there have been a few times the cord has been wrapped around either me or my parter and it's gotten pulled fairly hard but, it hasn't affected it at all. We did use it in the shower and that has had no affect on it either but, I just couldn't bring myself to submerge it into the bath. As far as battery usage goes, it does pretty well. I have noticed that it does become weaker even though the batteries are not totally dead so, for stronger vibrations they should be changed frequently.

- Hi Oggins! Thanks for the note on the vibe. Can you tell if this egg vibrator is durable? Has it been with you for awhile? The price over $20 looks a bit steap for this type of vibrators. Thank you. Gia

- Hi Gia! I have only had this one for about a month and so far so good! I do have concerns about the finish possibly wearing off but, no signs of that just yet. I really hope it doesn't because I love the color! I originally wanted the wireless egg but, when I checked out the reviews, it sounded like it broke easily so I went with this one instead. I will do a follow up in a month or two to let everyone know how it's holding up.
