Class Act: Sleek, Sexy, Effective
There's absolutely nothing about the Liv that suggests a cheap-o sex toy. From the packaging to her materials to her design and functions, she is high quality and well crafted. PLEASE do not overlook her or any of the other Lelo products because of price. Take pride in your orgasms and invest!Published: October 11, 2011
Pros:
Sleek, sexy, effective.
Cons:
Not waterproof

I LOVE my Liv. She's a great toy all around. Small, discreet, strong, quiet, reliable, easy to clean, rechargeable.
That said, now that I'm in the market for a specifically waterproof vibe, I find myself fearing that some of the waterproof options may "replace" my preference for the Liv. And don't get me wrong, I really do love my Liv. Part of why I chose her was buyer's remorse over a rabbit style vibe that completely didn't work for my body (which I've reviewed). I was worried about having the same thing happen, so I went with what seemed like the best and safest option I could find--the Liv is just the right choice for that purpose. But when it comes down to precise specifics over what will work best for you, there are a lot of similar options, many of which may outshine the Liv.
Regardless of whether the Liv turns out to be your (or my) favorite toy of all time, she will always be a wonderful addition to any toy collection: a perfectly straight forward "can't go wrong" little toy.

I have the Liv and find all the interval settings to just be annoying! I use it strictly on the regular constant vibration setting. What's your favorite Liv setting?

Toy Colors

Looking at the new Lime Green color of LELO's Liv, I'm very close to buying it, just because it's such a kick ass color. Anybody else have a soft spot for nicely colored toys?
Gigi will be my next purchase, and I think the dusty rose actually looks really pretty, but now there's bright blue...lol, I'm torn. -
Blue, green, and orange are my favorites. I prefer the "non-natural" coloring :-). Even if it's shaped like a real penis, it should be day-glo purple or somesuch :-)

I'm that way too. I like non-natural colors for toys. That is a kick ass color, that green. The pink Gigi does look pretty, but I also like how bright the turquoise is too! My next big buy will probably be a Gigi too, it just sounds so amazing. :)

The Liv or the Gigi. Both by Lelo
-
I've been hearing a lot lately about the Gigi. I haven't paid much attention because I absolutely love my Liv. I flipped back and saw that they are the same price, same company and only slightly different design. Does anyone actually have both? The Liv has been my all time favorite vibrator for a long time.

I actually have the Liv (though I haven't written up a review yet), the Iris, and the Elise. Honestly, and I hate to say it, but the Liv is probably my least favorite of the bunch. It's still an excellent vibe, but it's missing the delicious texturing of the Iris and the g-spot magic of the Gigi. If you like Lelo's products, I'd say the Gigi is definitely worth checking out!

Thank you for viewing Liv – sex toy review page!

An excellent first review! Very nicely done
Awesome first review, I am impressed. That kicks ass by the way that it has that locking feature. I can't stand accidental toy turn on.
Awesome first review!
Thanks
Awesome first review!
This is definitely one of the best first reviews I've ever read. Wonderful job!!!!!
How does this stand up against other g-spots that you've experienced?
I think the liv could work as a gspot vib for some people, particularly if their gpots are fairly shallow and don't require particularly firm or defined stimulation (such as from a highly angled or bulbous tip). I don't personally use it for gspot stimulation very often.
The liv, to me, is really more of a traditional shaped vibe with a very soft natural feeling curve. If you're unsure if that would work for your gspot and are specifically in the market for a gspot toy, I'd probably suggest looking elsewhere. The Gigi and Mona are two Lelos specifically geared toward gspot stim that get great reviews. The Gigi is basically the exact same as the Liv, only difference being the shape of the tip. Lelo also makes the ella, which is a great little gspot dildo shaped very similarly to the Gigi.
I also think being waterproof is an asset in a gspot toy, especially for squirters, as there's no telling exactly how wet it's going to get down there lol. Je Joue, Jimmyjane, Zinni and Fun Factory all offer waterproof/more water-resistent gspot toys that are well reviewed and more or less within the same price range.
Why O Why are these lelos not waterproof?
Great review!
