Conflicted DreamsI'm on the fence about this toy. On one hand, it provides nice vibrations and sensations for the g-spot, and it's super easy to get excited and go to town on yourself with the LD. However, the sensation nubs bothered me if I withdrew the toy too far. As I always say, your mileage may vary - it's worth a try!
Powerful vibrator, nice shape
Nubs can irritate vagina, could be smaller
The LD can be used for both internal and external stimulation; however, it's clearly intended for penetration. Its head is the widest point of the toy, ribbed with three firm bumps to stimulate your g-spot! It isn't particularly loud or soft, so use your best judgment when you receive it for where to use it. I find that closed door + some blankets = a good time not overheard by all! :) This toy would likely be best for moderate-to-advanced users, only because of the large bumps near the head. It takes some getting used to.
This toy is TPR silicone with hard nubs on the head and the base that are obviously meant for extra stimulation. It does have a bit of an odor when you first open it, but a little wash does wonders! I found that the nubs pushed this toy more into the category of "advanced," especially if you tend to have a vaginal lip or ridge that it would get caught on. It's wonderful once you get past that little ridge, but if you get a little too happy and thrust the nubs past the lip over and over again it may irritate your vagina. Your mileage may vary!
I feel as if the design could have used some modifications. If the nubs were smaller and there were more of them, this toy could have packed quite a punch for me! The size is quite average, so you won't be too stretched or have the obnoxious "Toy? What toy?" feeling, if you know what I mean. The curve of the LD is enough that it works with your body but not against it; I found that, again, once past the nubs it thrust quite well. It's definitely a toy that's easy to lose control with and really get into the motions! It's green and funky looking, however, and might not be too discreet. For anything. Though you could probably put it on the mantle for a really nice conversation starter...
The vibrator is located pretty close to the tip - needless to say, the vibrations carry very, very well. If every toy put their vibrator that close to the head, I would be one happy girl! The controls are easy; it's a little remote with two buttons: up and down. There's four settings for vibration; it's simple, even when you're... occupied! It's not especially noisy, but it isn't whisper-quiet either. The vibrator is powerful enough to do the job, but not overpowering. Very good performance, in my opinion!
This toy requires a bit of scrubbing to clean around all of the nubs; if you tend to fall apart in a heap of passion and toss the toy on the floor, there will be some interesting little crusties for you to clean off, unfortunately. However, if you clean it up well after use, it's super-easy to take care of. You can even soak it if you want; it's waterproof!
Follow-up commentary 5 months after original review
I'm not sure what it was about this toy, but without proper storage, it became a cat-hair magnet. That idea truly grossed me out! Prior to the cat hair fiasco, I tried it again, and I couldn't get past the bumps. It's a very interesting texture, but just not for me.
