Cupid's a Softy

We always knew Cupid had a soft spot--now here's the proof! Perfect for women who enjoy a softer, gentler vibrator, the Cupid is a pretty gift for you or your special someone. Instead of veins, the Cupid is textured with raised flowers. Enjoy Cupid's gentle touch under the covers or in a steamy shower--he's waterproof! Just pop in two AA batteries and let Cupid serenade your body.

extremely useful review
The Love Series Cupid comes packaged in a flowery blue cardboard box with enthusiastic, if slightly incorrect, English (or, Engrish, as some may call it) exclamations all over. For further detail of these amusing choices of text, please refer to the Experience section.

The Cupid I received is made of pink TPR silicone. It has a very faint, almost floral scent to the material, which complements the raised floral design on the toy. The 3-D daisies, complete with slightly pocked centers, provide a cute, interesting texture. The shaft itself has three slight lumps, as if three eggs were stacked on top of each other and then melted together. The overall effect is that the Cupid looks rather innocuous. In fact, it's so cute that I leave it on my computer desk and no one seems to notice that it's a vibrator.

The top and bottom "lumps" of the toy are somewhat rigid. The bottom houses part of the battery compartment while the top lump hides a single bullet. The middle lump is very soft and has no core. Overall, the Cupid is much softer than other toys of similar design. If you like your toys to be gentle and on the squishy side as opposed to being ramrod-stiff, the Cupid is the perfect choice.

The bullet in the top provides the vibration for the entire toy. The vibrations are concentrated in the top, but travel along down the shaft, though to a muted degree. The level of vibration is controlled by a dial in the base of the toy. At its lowest setting, the Cupid gives off a low, soft purr. At its highest, it is only a little louder than a cell-phone on vibrate.

The battery compartment is revealed by unscrewing the translucent plastic cap in the bottom. A waterproof seal makes the Cupid safe for water play. Insert two AA batteries, and the Cupid is ready to serenade your body.

Because it is made of TPR silicone, the Cupid is most compatible with water-based and oil-based lubes. If sharing, always use a condom, as the Cupid cannot be sterilized. To clean the Cupid, scrub and rinse with warm water and antibacterial soap. Take special care when washing around the crevices and ridges created by the floral texture - these spots can hide bacteria and other unpleasant things.
Experience
For me, the best part of Cupid was the box! I've never received a toy with Engrish on its box before, so this was a real treat. Here are a few quotes:

"Enjoy your happy life everyday!"

"Beautiful clubs and wave curve expand your limitless imagination! Touching tightly and communication can be achieved by raised clubs and multispeed vibration, to own it! To cover it, what do you still hesitate?"

And, my favorite:

"...Lube up and enjoy the stimulation of the realistic penis head and veined shaft..."

I had to look closely at the Cupid to verify that, indeed, he has nothing resembling a penis head OR "realistic veins". Or maybe that's what Cupid's arrow really looks like?

Hilarity aside, I did enjoy the Cupid. I usually prefer smaller (read: very small!) toys when it comes to insertion, but the Cupid was so soft that his size didn't bother me at all. Women who love rigid, hard toys should look elsewhere--the Cupid is a softie!

Liz2--How would you use them together? For DP? The cupid as clit stimulation and the glass dildo for penetration? Please share!

    Thanks for the comment Smile
