Cute, great vibration!
My little Pinky is finally being replaced/retired after two whole years of giving me the pleasure I craved. The amazing texture has disappeared, the heat it generates after prolonged use gives me vibrator burn, and there's a horrible crack in the battery cap. However, during the two years I've had her, Pinky has done everything I've wanted, from vaginal vibration, insertion, and clitoral play. She's also been great for showing my partner how I'd use my mouth on him.Published: January 22, 2011
Pros:
Amazing texture, great for tighter individuals, gets you off quickly.
Cons:
Highest setting too strong, heats up after prolonged use, battery cap comes off if turned too far.
Fantastic vibe - have had it for two years and has never failed me! The first thing I noticed about it was the packaging - I love the little devil girl on the front. As my first vibrator, I was amazed at how the toy literally felt like velvet, despite the fact that it was plastic. The lack of odor was a great feat, too. It is definitely a toy well-suited to newcomers to the toy industry.
The toy has a tendency to heat after prolonged use, which I did not realize until I tried to use it for clitoral play. And while the vibrations were great, I found that prolonged use not only made the toy actually a little hot to the touch but also caused vibrator burn on my love button. Not a pleasant thing to experience!
Other things I don't like about it are how hard it can be to turn the dial at the bottom, and if you turn it too far, the bottom piece comes off. Over time, a crack has showed up in the battery cap - not the best of situations if you want tub or shower play. And how loud it can get! As well, it's a very stiff toy which causes issues with certain positions, and I'd imagine would cause issues with partner play. Otherwise, definitely worth the money you've spent on it.
Caring for the toy is easy - although I found after so many uses that amazing velvet touch went away, and I'm left with streaks of hard plastic along the top of my toy. Not only is it unsightly, but it takes away from the pleasure. Because of this, and because I feel like it's time to spread my wings a little and explore more toys, my little Pinky is being retired, replaced, call-it-what-you-may, and possibly used for occasional play, when I need to get off quick.

Getting rid of stains on my Velvet Touch vibe?
-
LinLinHi, I accidentally used my Velvet touch vibrator during my period (like I started going and I didn't notice that I was already spotting). Since then it has some mild yellowing (I got it in lavander) and I don't know how to get rid of the stains! It does not seem to have an odor or anything, but does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the stains? I love this toy and its my first and only one I own, but I'm so annoyed with the staining!
Any help would be appreciated! -
You could try cleaning it with a bleach solution, but honestly it might just be stained. I'd say that if it doesn't smell and you've cleaned it real well, that might just be it. It won't affect the usability at all though, which is good. :)

Yep, I was going to suggest the same. Best wishes!

Velvet touch vibrator – traditional vibrator

cherrypopedI've heard this one is no good. it stops working fast. Should i buy it? -
Quote: I've heard this one is no good. it stops working fast. Should i buy it?Cherry, In what ways does it stop working fast? Do you mean that the battery dies quickly? Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!

I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.
