The Paul and Paulina is a rabbit style vibrator from Fun Factory's G4 line of toys. This silicone toy is rechargeable through Fun Factory's click and charge magnetic system, and is completely waterproof. The Paul and Paulina is stylized after a pair of caterpillars, with Paul being the main shaft of the toy, and Paulina being the clitoral arm. The caterpillars even have eyes on the toy! As a rabbit style vibrator the Paul and Paulina is meant for dual stimulation of the G-spot and clitoris, but the clitoral arm makes it anal safe as well so you could technically use it for anal and perineum stimulation too if you wish.

The Paul and Paulina is made from silicone and plastic. Silicone rates a perfect 10 on the Eden Fantasys' safety scale. It earns high marks for being non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and phthalates free. The silicone is flexible and somewhat silky with a slight amount of drag associated with it that is remedied with a small amount of water-based lubricant. The silicone is a lint magnet everything sticks to this toy; dust, lint, pet hair, a good rinse off before use is absolutely necessary with the Paul and Paulina. All of the insertable portions of the Paul and Paulina are made from silicone, while the handle and control panel are made from hard white plastic. Plastic still earns high marks on the safety scale, an 8 to be exact. Plastic is also non-porous, hypo-allergenic and phthalates free. The Paul and Paulina is absolutely odorless and taste-free.

The Paul and Paulina is a heavily textured toy, the entire shaft and clitoral arm is made up of ridges and rolls. The toy is stylized after a caterpillar so the rolls are suppose to somewhat resemble the segments on the caterpillar. There is also a pair of eyes on both arms, one pair for Paul (the main shaft) and another pair for Paulina (the clitoral arm). The texture that the rolls and ridges makes up can really be felt during use, especially during thrusting, those who are not a fan of texture might find this toy too overwhelming.

The Paul and Paulina is a hefty toy. As a rabbit style vibrator stylized after a pair of caterpillars there is a insertable shaft, Paul, and a clitoral stimulator, Paulina. Overall the whole toy measures 8.75 inches long with an insertable shaft length of 5 inches, and there is a 2 inch long clit stimulator arm that comes off the front of the toy. The shaft of Paul and Paulina is curved for G-spot stimulation. The tip of the shaft is 3.5 inches in circumference, it gradually widens out to 5.25 inches in circumference at the base of the insertable shaft. The clitoral arm is 3.25 inches in circumference. There is a 2.5 inch long base that also acts as a handle on the bottom of the toy. The controls and magnetic charging port are located here. There is a large oval opening in the base that works really well for inserting a finger or two through for manipulating the toy during use.



I find that the Paul and Paulina is a large toy, not only do I find it rather girthy, but that the G-spot curve in the shaft is just a bit too long to really get full enjoyment out of the toy. In order for the curve to stimulate my G-spot I cannot fully insert the toy or the I don't feel it on my G-spot, the problem with that is without the toy fully inserted the clit arm doesn't get close enough to vibrate on the clitoris. Thrusting with the Paul and Paulina feels very good, but then the clitoral arm doesn't do much good. Those who enjoy larger toys will really like Paul and Paulina, as will those who have deeper G-spots. As with any rabbit style vibe, whether or not the clit arm will be the right size to reach your clitoris will vary from user to user depending on your anatomy.

The Paul and Paulina is part of the click and charge line from Fun Factory, it is rechargeable and gets power via its magnetic charger. The magnetic charger attaches to the Paul and Paulina on the back of the base of the toy where the words "Fun Factory" are embossed in the plastic with the word "Fun" being metal. Lining up the Fun Factory on the base with the Fun Factory on the charger gets the correct connection for charging and the charger will light up red, when the Fun Factory is no longer red, the toy is finished charging. The click and charge charging system can be somewhat finicky, it is easy for the magnet to lose connection and stop charging, especially if it get bumped or nudged during charging. I double check the connection when the light turns off to make sure that it is actually done charging vs the charger is no longer connected to the toy properly.



Paul and Paulina has 6 speeds of vibration and 4 different patterns that are controlled by buttons on the the front of the base. There are three buttons, a plus, minus, and an pattern button. Pressing on the plus button powers on the toy and amps up the speed of vibration. Pressing on the minus button turns down the speed of the vibrations, holding it down will also turn off the toy. Once the toy is on, pressing down on the pattern button will switch between the four different patterns. They are:
1- really fast pulse
2- fast pulse
3- pulse
4- lower pulse


The buttons on the controls light up when they are pressed, the plus and minus do not stay illuminated but the pattern button's light will blink when it is on one of the pulsation modes. The buttons also light up briefly when the Paul and Paulina is tuned off when the base of the toy is touched making it easy to operate in the dark.

Overall the vibrations are moderately powerful but tend to feel a bit more buzzy than deep and rumbly. It is also fairly noisy when turned all the way up, overall I would rate the toy 3.5-4 vrooms and 3 bees. The toy is noisy enough that you will be able to hear it through the covers and across the room, but a good door should prevent roommates from knowing what you are up to. There is only one motor in the toy that is located towards the bottom of the shaft. Unfortunately there is not a second motor for the clitoral arm, so vibrations in the clit arm are only what travels through the silicone to it. I would have preferred a motor in the G-spot head and a second one in the clit arm.

The Paul and Paulina is completely waterproof, a benefit of magnetic charging. You can safely use this toy in the bath or shower if you wish.

Paul and Paulina is made from silicone and it is waterproof making it very easy to clean and take care of. You can wash the toy in warm water and anti-bacterial soap, or use your favorite toy cleaner. If you wanted to sanitize the Paul and Paulina you can do so by soaking in a 10% bleach solution. The ridges on the shaft of the toy do not require too much extra cleaning like texture can on some toys can, lube and other fluids don't tend to stick around after the initial post-play cleaning. The silicone does attract lint and dust very effectively so I find it helpful to store it somewhere protected between use and rinse any lint or pet hair that has stuck onto the surface off before use.

As the Paul and Paulina is made from silicone it is best to use water-based lube with the toy during play. Silicone-based lubes can bind with silicone toys and cause permanent damage to the surface of the toy. Fun Factory has been nice enough to include a sample packet of their water-based lube Toy Fluid in the packaging with the Paul and Paulina.

The Paul and Paulina and the charger came packaged in two separate boxes, both were brown and red boxes with the Fun Factory logos and pictures of products on them. The box that contained the Paul and Paulina had a window in the front of it that you could see the toy through, it had a magnetic flap that opened up to panels with information on the toy and larger window to see the Paul and Paulina through. The back of the box just had a large picture of a the Calla, also all of the illustrations on the box were of the Calla, my only thought on this is that Fun Factory must use the same box for all the G4 vibes, since the box has no name expect for G4 vibe on it. The UPC code on the bottom of the box is for Paul and Paulina. Inside of the cardboard box the Paul and Paulina is inclosed in a plastic clam shell. In the box with the Paul and Paulina was a manual in multiple languages and a sample pack of Fun Factory's water-based lube Toy Fluid. The box that contained the Click 'N' Charge charger had a picture of the magnetic charger head on one side and a pictures of different Fun Factory toys on the other. The packaging is in no way discreet, but it does not feature any tacky pictures of half naked models or anything of that sort.

I lusted after Paul and Paulina for months before I finally decided to buy this toy. I had hoped that the rechargeable rabbit would be just the right amount of power and that the G-spot curve would feel fantastic. I was a tad bit disappointed in the function of the Paul and Paulina, the G-spot curve feels good when thrusting, but then I don't get full enjoyment out of the clitoral arm when thrusting. I really like the texture on the toy, but it gets a little too girthy at the bottom of the shaft to fully enjoy it. For now I am still trying to find a way to make Paul and Paulina work for me.
