The shaft had multiple speeds and settings that changed the way the beads rotated. Overall, the controls were easy to figure out, but I wish there were directions included.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. One: the controls should have come with directions because there were so many different settings. Two: I am on a constant search for the perfect waterproof toy and sadly this lover has to stay on dry land.
