Nubby softee - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Karmababe

The Nubby Softee by Cal Exotics is a decent, powerful little vibrator, which can be used for clitoral stimulation, vaginal, or nipple play. It’s soft to the touch with a couple rows of textured nubs for added stimulation leading to faster, stronger orgasms. There could be more variety to the vibrations, you can select speed from low to high with the dial control on bottom, but no option for pulsing or patterns, but given that it is a strong, waterproof vibe it’s still a totally decent, simple vibrator that could make a good addition to anyone’s collection.

The Nubby is made of bright pink plastic and TPE, the hard plastic making up the battery compartment, internal bullet and controller base of the vibe body and the TPE making up the textured sleeve.

Plastic is non-porous and phthalates-free material, which can be cleaned easily with antibacterial soap and warm water or with a toy wipe, and is unaffected by contacting other materials. The TPE on the other hand is a bit more temperamental, it is a rubber/polymer blend that is somewhat porous, though not terribly so, and has a soft, jelly-like feel to it.

TPE cannot be sterilized by boiling or bleaching as it will degrade the material, it can only be washed in mild soap and warm water or by using a mild toy cleaner.

This is not as easy to stash as some other traditional clitoral vibes as it is 6.5” in overall length. The vibrating tip is about 4.75” long and 1.5” in diameter meaning that it might be possible to hit some shallower g-spots. Though you’ll find that the tip is slightly flexible and not so easy to navigate during insertion, hence the reason I use mine mainly for clitoral stimulation. It runs on only 2AA batteries which last a surprisingly long time; I’ve enjoyed mine several times and am still on the first set of batteries!
