The ViboKit Vibrator Upgrade Kit is one way to dress up a more ordinary vibrator. This kit comes with three parts: a suction cup base, a textured band, and an attachable bullet clitoral arm. All three parts stretch and can accommodate a decent amount of toys. However, if you have a collection of smaller toys, this kit may be a bit big for them. However, you're bound to find at least some way to use them.

The ViboKit is a decent material and quality. The suction cup and textured band can be use din the shower with no worry. The bullet is not the most discreet, but careful placement can help out. Even if it is a bit loud, some background music or noise should keep you from being heard. Since this kit can customize toys, it is user friendly among both the experienced and inexperienced. The bullet could be used on its own for stimulation and the band around it can be used as a finger holder.

Overall, if you have a few toys on hand and would like to try spicing them up, this could work for you.

If you're putting this on a toy you intend for anal play, I'd recommend covering the toy with a condom. While unlikely, it is technically possible that the textured band could come off and get stuck inside the body. Also, the material is okay, but not completely sterilizable.

The attachments are made out of TPE, or thermoplastic elastomer. TPE, also known as TPR, is a polymer, or blend of multiple types of plastics. Each manufacturer's TPR can be slightly different (given different amounts of each plastic to make the blend). TPE is generally microporous, so it is less porous than rubber and jelly toys and more than some better plastics. There is no overt smell to the attachments. The bullet is an aluminum color if you remove the sleeve/band it's in and it seems to be covered in plastic.



There is texture on the, well, textured band. It has many small raised nubs going all around it. It can be felt when being used. If you go slow and are well lubricated, you can see how much you like the use of the textured band. The same nubs are also present on the bullet's sleeve to provide a better grip for clitoral stimulation. If the texture is too much, you could turn the textured band inside out.

All the attachments are flexible and can stretch to a considerable degree.

Size isn't an issue for these attachments in the traditional sense. The bands in themselves are not too big or small for a user. What matters is if the attachments fit well for your toy. Overall, the attachments won't fit if your toy is on the smaller side. Thus, if you have smaller shafts for your toys, the attachments will just fall off. The Chic Hide-a-Vibe has a circumference of 3.25 inches and you can see the gap between the textured band and the toy. The suction cup also has a similar requirement for girth. A toy with a circumference of over 4 inches should do. It will also stretch to accommodate a toy with a girth over 5 inches around. Another thing to remember is that if you're using this with a vibrator that the suction cup attachment can hide the controls (or accidentally turn the toy off). It can be a bit touch to fit the suction cup on the base of a toy. It's harder to place it on dildos that have more of a flare at the base.

The textured band

The textured band can be used by itself, or with all the attachments. Everything is very interchangeable if you have a toy that fits. The textured band can go anywhere on the shaft of a toy or even on an existing clitoral attachment on a toy. it can even be placed on a clitoral vibrator to increase the grip on a toy or to add a better grip on the clitoris.

The bullet and sleeve

The bullet is not the best. It requires watch batteries, which many houses don't have on hand. It is buzzy and can be a bit whiny-loud. Still, you can replace this bullet with another your own. The noise of the bullet is variable. It might be louder is used in conjunction with a vibrator (two items humming along together). You'll probably need some background noise like a fan or music if using the bullet. The bullet is not marked at waterproof. The bullet is easy to use with a single push button. It doesn't have any fancy patterns, just a standard, albiet buzzy vibration.

The suction cup

Your success with the suction cup really depends on the toy you're using it on. In general, the suction cup will adhere to smooth surfaced like tile, some countertops, glass and even a glossy, finished wood. The longer/heavier the toy, the more unreliable the suction will become on the toy. There are better suction cups out there, but it works well for the price. Make sure the cup is cleaned well to ensure the best suction.

Soap and water is your best bet. TPR/TPE cannot be boiled. It can be a pain to clean around the nubs on the attachments. It might be best to use something like a toothbrush or nail scrubber to clean it well. Because it's a small surface area, the toy isn't a total nightmare to clean. You can use both silicone and water based lubricants with these toys.

Once clean and dry, the attachments are best stored off a toy. This will prevent them from being stretched out or misshaped.

Packaging is basic: a cardstock box with a clear plastic front.

I'm not the best searcher for sex toys sometimes. I almost always narrow my search thinking I'll want nothing else, and that's now always true. I saw this kit when it was on sale a while back. I was in the market for a suction cup and was excited this kit had one (an awesome, more simple suction cup would have done it, but I digress).

I have some toys the suction cup will work with, but not many. Most of my preferred toys tend to have narrowed/slimmed bases or have their controls toward the bottom of the toy. This suction cup is best suited to dildos or toys that are larger on the whole. It was a bit disappointing, but it doesn't mean you can't use the other attachments on toys. You can, for example, put the textured band around higher ends toys and give a smooth toy a bit more excitement. The textured band will fit on LELO's Ina and like toys, some Jopen toys and even smaller Fun Factory toys, to name a few.

My least favorite of the attachment is the bullet, but the sleeve is still very usable. It is fun trying to dress toys up and the sleeve is big enough to accommodate some bullets that run on AA or AAA batteries.
