Dial L for Lame

It's definitely for beginners. I would like to think that back in the day this would do something for me, but it's wasted on me as of now. It's a very loud toy that you would have to muffle with something and just use when no one is around.

The dial setting on the bottom is annoying, but you can just turn it on before inserting it if you have T-Rex arms like myself.

Pros
It's a smooth texture and it's lightweight.
Cons
It's loud, inflexible, dial setting is too far for my tiny arms, and wasn't pleasurable at all.

Use

California Exotic's First Time G-Spot Tulip vibe is meant for someone who is new to the g-spot stimulator experience. It's light weight and safe for you to use, as it's hypoallergenic as well as latex free, for those of us with latex allergies.

The G-Spot vibrator is meant for your G-Spot, although due to the vibrations, you can actually use it on the outside of your body. It can be used on the clit as well. It's not to be used anally. The vibrator isn't shaped for that and is too still. Not to mention that there is no flared bottom and that is a disaster waiting to happen.

For added stimulation, you can pair this up with a clitoral vibrator. This way you can have a great experience while achieving your orgasm(s).

Material / Texture

The Tulip is completely odorless. There is no washing beforehand to remove any odor, but it's still recommended to wash beforehand just in case.

The toy is smooth, but there is a seam that runs the meridian of the Tulip. It neither adds or takes away from the experience; it's just more visually distracting. Not only is the toy smooth, but it's non-porous as well.

This g-spot stimulator isn't flexible. It's a plastic shell, your basic run of the mill beginner's toy.

For vibrations, there is a dial base at the bottom. It works on 2 AA batteries. It has 3 intensity levels. As expected, a low, medium and a high. The vibrations are steady vibrations with no undulation or pauses.

This toy, as it states, is for beginners. For the experienced user, it may fall short of your expectations.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The Tulip is long and slender. If I had started out with this as my first vibrator, I may have enjoyed it more. I'm used to thicker toys, as well as a thicker partner, so this seemed to fall short on the girth side. If you have trouble with wider toys that may have any texture, this toy will be great for you.

I really liked the color of the Tulip, maybe the only thing I liked about this toy.

Length wise it was great. It was long enough to explore my insides. I do have a shallow vaginal canal so it may be because of personal reasons why I think it's long enough. The bulb on top is a decent size but it slips in rather easily. Lube up a bit and you're set.

As for lubing, I would be careful with this one. Once you get moist enough (which really isn't even a lot with this toy), you will find the toy tends to spin around if you don't have a firm grip on it. I get wet rather quickly and the moment that happened, the toy was spinning around. I had to sit there and hold the toy in place the whole time feeling as if it would whirl right out of me.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Definitely a beginner's toy! I don't even know if I'd recommend it for a beginner's toy. I was really hoping that despite the cheapness that it would be a pleasant surprise for me. It was a surprise alright, just not a pleasant one.

The vibrations are mainly located at the bulb, although since it was a hard plastic toy, they carried throughout the shaft as well. You can tell though that it's more intense at the bulb. If you want to turn on the vibrations, there is a dial setting on the bottom of the toy. Three steady intensity levels, nothing special. I find dial settings annoying when the toy is inside of me and I try turning it on during that period. I have tiny T-Rex arms so I have to turn it on prior or shift around to reach it.

As a g-spot vibrator/stimulator, it failed. There was no stimulation at all with it. Honestly, I have a hairbrush with a straight handle that worked much better than this toy. I used it with and without the vibrations and I got nothing out of it. I shifted positions and nothing seemed to help.

The noise coming from this was way too loud for my liking. I've had loud toys before, but this is the loudest. While inside it kept spinning and the noise escaping sounded like a didgeridoo. I ended up losing my composure because of this. I did always want to play the didgeridoo, just not like this.

The toy claims to be waterproof, but I wouldn't submerge it and I'd still be a bit on the safe side as well.
    • Multiple settings
    • Not discreet at all
    • Not enough variety

Care and Maintenance

Due to it's non-porous nature, it's very easy to clean up. Just use warm water and soap and you're set. You can easily store this with other toys, seeing as it's plastic.

You can use both water-based and silicone-based lubes with the Tulip as well.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Personal comments

I really hated this toy. I know hate is a strong word, but this is the only toy I'm throwing out, not because of the material, but how crappy it is.

There was no pleasure from this at all. I even resorted to trying it as a clit vibe and that didn't work either. The toy kept spinning inside and no matter what angle or position I used, there was nothing to gain from it.

The loudness of the toy made me feel paranoid, despite no one being home when I tried it.

After my experience with this toy, I actually had to get my regular vibrators just so I could orgasm. I'm generally easy to make orgasm and if that can't happen there is something wrong.

Experience

As stated above, this toy was very sub-par for me. I wanted so much to like it, but I shouldn't have expected much from a cheap toy.

I pretty much hated everything about this toy other than how smooth it was.
