Speeding bullets armor piercing - bullet vibrator by Evolved Novelties - review by Envy

The Speeding Bullets series is a set of clitoral vibrators by Evolved. The Armor Piercing one has the pointed tip used for pinpointing the vibrations rather than dispersing them over a wide area. It can also be used as a way to tease the nipples or other sensitive areas.

Due to it's small size it could easily be used during intercourse as well. However it might get slippery with too much lube despite the velvety texture this toy has.

It's also waterproof, this toy can also be taken into the bath or shower. You could also use it vaginally if you so wished, though it really wasn't designed for this and is rather small. Do NOT use this toy anally, though, it has no flared base and could easy get lost, resulting in a trip to the doctor to have it removed.

This toy has a pointed tip for pinpoint stimulation as has a velvety texture all over it. It's plastic but one might not think so just by holding it. There's no seams, odors, or anything unpleasant about this toy at all. However, due to being plastic, this toy cannot be fully sterilized, so if you're sharing it be sure to cover it with a condom. It's also unyielding and very stiff.

The shape is like that of a bullet, probably contributing to the name of the toy. It's very small, only about 2 1/2 inches long and about the width of a finger. There are no seams that could cause irritation in use, and due to it being so small, it could easily be used during sex. It's also very non-intimidating and would be perfect for beginners.

The battery compartment is on the bottom of the unit, just unscrew it to place the batteries inside. There's also a waterproofing o ring inside to prevent water from leaking in. It takes 3 small watch batteries which may be slightly difficult to acquire. Thankfully the toy comes packaged with 6 batteries.

The Armor Piercing bullet has five functions, all of them very buzzy in nature rather than deep vibrations:

1. Weak steady vibration
2. Stronger steady vibration
3. Pulsing
4. Very fast pulsing
5. Pulsing mixed with a steady buzz

Pressing the bottom of the toy causes it to turn on. You cycle through the functions by keeping on pressing the button. To turn it off, cycle through it until it shuts off. It's very easy to turn this toy on by pressing the button so I don't recommend it for traveling very much due to the fact it could accidentally be turned on very easily, leading to very embarrassing moments.

One of the best parts of this toy is the waterproofing ring when you open the battery compartment. just make sure you seal the toy well before submerging or it may leak.

Cleaning this toy is easy. Just wash in warm soapy water and pat dry. Due to the mechanical parts inside, though, do not boil this toy or stick in the dishwasher! You break it if you do so.

I also suggest removing the batteries after use so they don't leak inside the toy and also last longer.

Due to being plastic, you can use either silicone or water based lubricants with no problems.

The toy comes in a small plastic box that's see-through with the company name across the front. It's not very discreet and is also rather cheap, so I wouldn't recommend keeping it for storage or anything. The toy sits in a soft insert and the batteries are taped to the back of it. There are no instructions or manuals included.

Despite all this, the box looks nice enough to give this toy as a gift to someone and the price is reasonable as well.

I wanted to have something to use as a backup in case my Jimmyjane Iconic Bullet decided to die on me. I thought I'd like this bullet due to some of the reviews I had read, the price was reasonable, and it was small. I was sorely disappointed however.

First of all, it only has two steady vibration settings. I prefer steady vibrations, and neither of them were strong enough for me. This toy also rattles slightly when on, not sure if all are like this or I just happened to get a funny sounding one.

Another thing I didn't like was how loud it was. My Iconic Bullet is a lot quieter as well as stronger.

In use it just didn't seem right. It felt odd and at times pokey and overall wasn't a very pleasant experience. It wasn't strong enough, either. I eventually just tossed it in with all my other toys and forgot about it.

Recently I pulled it out and through to give it another go, and to my horror it was covered in black spots! (I had the blue model.) Apparently when it's up against certain fabrics, the dyes can bleed into it. I am not sure how or why this is as the toy is supposed to be plastic, but I ended up chucking it in the trash as I didn't want to risk using it afterwards.
