The Incognito Lipstick Vibe is packaged in a cute cardboard box featuring anime girls on the front and back. The vibe itself is made of shiny plastic; silver for the "case" and pink (or whatever color you choose) for the "lipstick". It is in the lipstick portion that the vibrations are most strongly felt.
The lipstick vibe comes with a removable cap which, when used to cover the vibrating portion of the lipstick, makes the overall toy seem like an innocuous stick of lipstick. It is a bit thicker than most tubes of lipstick in the typical makeup bag, but not conspicuously so. Its case is completely unmarked, leaving no clue for prying eyes that this tube of lipstick is for a completely different kind of "touch-up"!
The vibe's power switch and battery compartment are both controlled by the same twisting portion of the lipstick tube, which is nearly identical to a regular lipstick tube's twisting portion used to push the lipstick out. A removable sticker helps you remember where each setting is and what it does. Far left is "open". Turning the lipstick's marker to this position enables you to wiggle the "lipstick" out and opens the battery compartment. A single AAA battery is inserted, and then you can close the compartment again. The middle position is "off", where the battery compartment is safely closed but the power is off. Far right is "on", the setting at which the lipstick vibrates.
The [|lipstick vibe] only has one speed, but it is rather strong and is great for quickies in the ladies' room during coffee breaks. However, you must turn it as far as it will go in order for the vibe to stay on. Sometimes, if the vibe is jostled too much, the power will turn off and you will have to adjust it so that it vibrates again.
This vibe is not waterproof. There seems to be some kind of seal where the battery compartment closes, but it is rather flimsy and is not likely to keep moisture out as that is not its main purpose. The box itself warns that the toy is not to be submerged in water. To clean, simply wash with a mild antibacterial soap.

Experience
For such a little guy (and running on a single AAA battery, too!), I was surprised that it delivered such strong vibrations. I use this mainly as a clitoral vibrator, as well as a tickler for the nipples and sometimes the anus. Its shape is not conducive to insertion (too small, weird shape because of the way lipstick tubes just ARE). I showed it to a friend who is interested in trying sex toys for the first time, and she thought it would be the perfect toy for a beginner.
The only qualms I have about the lipstick vibe is that while it's nice and strong, it has a buzz to match. It's quiet enough that you can't hear it through a wall, but not so quiet that you can use it secretly at, say, a conference meeting.

Well that is dumb! The point is to use it in "public". If it is too looud for this, what is the point lol.
Lauren--I have yet to encounter a discreet vibe that is quiet enough to ACTUALLY use in public (under the desk during a conference meeting, etc.) If you can hear a cell phone vibrating in public, then you can hear this toy. However, I believe it WOULD be possible to use this on an airplane, under a blanket, due to the fact that an airplane's engine makes a lot of background noise and would disguise the sound of the vibe. I think the main point of this vibe is more that you can take it anywhere and not worry about people looking at you funny for taking a tube of lipstick into the bathroom, rather than, say, something far more conspicuous, such as a bullet vibe.
This looks like a neat way to camouflage a vibrator in a purse, etc. I wonder if it would make it through airport security?
Sammi-- Hmmm... that's a good question! I don't know if their scanners would pick up on the battery compartment inside. Even if you were stopped and had to show it to them, however, it would be far less embarrassing to pull out a little tube of lipstick with a battery compartment (most people around you wouldn't know what was going on/wouldn't care anyway) then it would be to pull out your Rabbit Habit! I don't see a reason why they WOULDN'T let you take it on an airplane, as it has no potentially harmful uses.

Just curious, how would you compare this vibes strength against a standard bullet?
Minxy--Good question! The only bullets I have ever had were multi-speed, and the lipstick is one-speed. I would say that the lipstick's speed is similar to a standard variable speed bullet's medium-high setting. It's definitely enough to get me off via clitoral stimulation, and I like my vibes strong!
