Pocket rocket junior by Doc Johnson - review by SimpleTeaser

The 2” Pocket Rocket Junior, by Doc Johnson, is a tiny vibrator that can be taken just about anywhere due to it’s size. That includes carrying the vibrator into the shower as it’s supposed to be waterproof. However, I didn’t take it into the shower as I have used waterproof products in the past that proved they shouldn’t have been anywhere near water.

This discreetly sized vibrator is suppose to provide powerful orgasms in it’s tiny design. I did find that the Pocket Rocket Junior is fairly quiet, small enough to fit into the palm of your cupped hand, but, doesn’t provide a serious vibration. If you are sensitive in the clitoral area, this may work perfectly for you. I, on the other hand, have to apply pressure as the vibrator lacks vibration power.

Due to the size of this product, it’s not recommended that you insert the Pocket Rocket Junior inside of the vagina. It does have a string attached but, is very small and can be difficult to remove.

If you enjoy nipple stimulation, this product can be used on and around the nipples.

The Pocket Rocket Junior, is made of plastic. Since plastic is non-porous it can be easily cleaned with a wipe or a cloth with soapy water. If you’d like to use a dab of lube or warming gel, it should be easy to clean when you’re finished.

Since this vibrator is made of plastic, it’s slick design can add extra stimulation by rubbing it on and around the clitoris. I suggest adding a drop of lube, or use your vaginal juices to give this vibe the ability to slide around quickly. This helped achieve orgasm quicker since the vibrations are lower than I had expected.

I found that the vibrator had a slight plastic scent when removed from the plastic. The scent fades away soon after.

The Pocket Rocket Junior is quite small. It has a slightly larger, round head with a skinnier bottom. There is a thin, rope type of string attached to the vibrator with a plastic cap. I’ve never really understood the caps except for the ease of grasping the strings.

A battery is included with the rocket in size N1 which can be purchased separately on EdenFantasys for $4.99 or found in your local drugstore.

Turning the Pocket Rocket Junior on is a breeze, just twist the bottom of the vibrator to turn it on. Caution, the bottom easily comes off to expose your battery. Make sure to replace the bottom of your vibrator before use or the product won’t work. There is only 1 speed so you cannot adjust the vibration to your comfort or excitement level.

Doc Johnson’s Pocket Rocket Junior is approximately 2” in length, 2 1/4" circumference, ¾” in diameter, and weighs a whopping 0.2lbs.

The size makes this perfect for beginners or advanced users. You can easily slip this in your purse, luggage for travel, in your pocket, or cup your hands around the vibe to carry it into a private location such as the bathroom.

The vibrations with this Pocket Rocket Junior are light buzzing sounds. Possibly compared to the sound of a small bee which makes this more discreet for those who like quieter sounds for privacy.

Since there is only one setting, it can be difficult to stimulate the clitoris if you’re not sensitive. This made for a difficult and awkward situation when trying to find the best position to use the vibrator. I tried laying on my back, standing up, spreading the lips of my vagina and pressing the vibrator to my clitoris, laying on my stomach, wearing tight panties with the vibe pressed up to my clitoris, etc. While I did reach orgasm, it took longer than when I use most of my other toys.

The advertisement on the EdenFantasys page states that this is waterproof. This product is NOT waterproof according to the packaging. I’m not sure why it’s disclosed on the website or manufactured page that it is waterproof because, it’s clearly printed on the packaging Quote: “Do not use while bathing or in the shower”. It’s a good thing that I didn’t try this in the shower!

As I mentioned previously, this product is made of smooth plastic and is slightly see through. Cleaning your Pocket Rocket Junior is simple, a wet wipe, toy cleaner, damp paper towel, or even a wash cloth with soapy water can provide easy cleanup. If you do use soapy water to clean your vibe, please take precautions and remove the battery. A battery can rust and become dangerous if exposed to water. Plus, your vibe can quit working.

I was surprised with the packaging this rocket arrived in. The packaging was a small, sealed plastic pouch that you rip open. This made for easy and discreet disposal. Do read the warnings and product information before opening the rocket, it can be tough to read once you rip the packaging. This was one of my problems, I didn’t read the entire package before I opened the product and tossed it out after reading the warning about not using in the shower and the product should not be use on swollen or inflamed are or on skin lacerations.

Since the packaging is a disposable plastic pouch, it's not recommended to store your toy for long term storage.
