Let me start with the fact that this is a vibrator kit. When I received the package, it came in a neat plastic unit with some "on the go" pina colada lube (which is really sweet but all right when you use it in small amounts), a small tube of toy cleaner, the vibrator, and the platypus sleeve. The packaging was neat and nice, and the package was bright and inviting; and in joyous relief, there were no naked women on the package making come hither smiles.

I wasn't really expecting a lot out of this toy (Portable pleasures petz platypus). Its size threw me off, and the fact that it was a small platypus may have also skewed my assumed idea of what this toy would be like. Boy, was I wrong; with a little extra care and some time, this little toy could be your next best friend.

The first time I used it, I decided to try a little bit of the new lube (it's a bit thick). I took the tail end of the platypus and started moving it around in a circular motion on my erogenous zones. The thing I liked about it was that it was a little bit rough, yet the jelly irritating my skin. After rubbing it around my slit for about two minutes and just kind of getting a feel of the toy, I turned it around—and oh my, what a wonderful surprise. The bill is short and just thick enough to massage the opening of my vagina, while the feet cradled my clit and sent dull vibrations through it. It probably took a good ten minutes to really finish strong with this toy, but it was completely worth it.

So, after my little encounter with the platypus, I decided to make a list of the things I liked, and the things I didn't like:

Likes: Various speeds, platypus bill, color, waterproof, wide enough to move around in any position, easy to clean, discreet (as much as a sex toy can be, I suppose).

Dislikes: Not a very concrete speed knob, hard to remove sleeve, loud.

All in all, this toy was a success so far, but it was time to give it the ultimate test of the bathtub. I have a pretty small tub, so it's not too easy to move around in. However, this toy makes it so that you don't even want to; it simply sends the waves of vibrations endlessly through the water, through every erogenous zone you could imagine. I might be a bit biased due to the glass of wine I had, but the toy was meant to be nonetheless. It gave me the same results I had gotten outside of the bathtub, which was satisfying. This toy will surely become a permanent piece in my collection, something for a few of those rainy days.
