Does Your Clit Need a Soft, Speedy Stroking?

If you find that the other Eroscillator attachments sometimes feel too intense or too textured, definitely get the Fingertip - it'll solve those problems. On the other hand, if you need a lot of intensity, the Fingertip may dampen the oscillations too much for you (but it's still great for warm-up).

Use

The Ultra-Soft Fingertip attachment is an add-on for either model of the Eroscillator (the 2 Plus or the 2 Top Deluxe). It doesn't come with the basic kits, and must be bought separately.

Like the other Eroscillator attachments, the Fingertip snaps onto the base unit in a specific way (the grooves have to be lined up). Once snapped on, it stays securely attached until it's pulled off again.

The Fingertip is great for stimulating nipples, labia, and other erogenous zones, but its main target is the clit. It's ideal for someone who has found that the other Eroscillator attachments have too much texture or feel too intense, because its soft squishiness dilutes the intensity of the oscillations.

Material / Texture

The Fingertip's body is made of the same material as the other Eroscillator attachments - TPE coated in silicone. It has a bit of give to it, and can be bent a little, but pops right back into shape. It has no detectable smell or taste.

However, unlike the other Eroscillator attachments, the Fingertip has a large, marshmallow-like head that's made of silicone elastomer. This part is very squishy, just like a real marshmallow. The softness makes the Eroscillator's intense oscillations more bearable for someone who can't handle strong stimulation.

Both of these materials are completely body-safe, but they are slightly porous, so it's recommended that you not share your attachments with non-fluid-bonded partners, and that you use a condom over them if you decide to try them out anally.

While the attachments are made to be washable, you should never take the Eroscillator into the bath or shower with you, as it is an electrical device and you risk electrocution doing so.

Design / Shape / Size

The Fingertip's head is larger than those of the other Eroscillator attachments. This is part of the reason it provides a more diffuse sensation - it covers more area. Its softness and pliability are fantastic, particularly because they make the Fingertip different from every other Eroscillator attachment in a fundamental way.

The attachments are small and easy to tuck into a bag or even a pocket. The trouble is that you have to carry the very bulky Eroscillator base unit around with you if you want to use it "on the go" or travel with it. Though, the Eroscillator is definitely more portable when you remove the attachments and transport them separately.

The Fingertip attachment, by itself, doesn't really look like a sex toy. I'm not sure what a bystander would mistake it for, but they probably wouldn't think "vibrator attachment" right away unless they knew about the Eroscillator. When attached to the base unit, the Fingertip looks more sex toy-like.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Fingertip attachment, like all the Eroscillator attachments, is easy to snap on and equally as easy to remove. I've never had a problem doing this.

When I initially tried out the Eroscillator (using the attachments that came with it, not this one), I found that it was just a little bit too intense for me. I could get off with it, but I sometimes became overstimulated and had to take a break. This is definitely no longer a problem now that I have the Fingertip attachment, as its stimulation is much more gentle. It's squishy, larger, and has no texture, so it's the perfect option if you've tried other attachments and found them too hard, texture-y, or intense.

I don't find that the Eroscillator is as quiet as some people say it is. The attachments rattle around in it, and it could probably be heard through blankets, though not through a closed door. However, once the Fingertip attachment is pressed against the body, the toy becomes almost completely silent, even on the higher settings. This is a great feature, though I wish it were true all the time and not just when the toy is actively in use.

The Fingertip attachment really does feel like a finger, albeit with a lot more speed and power behind it. It doesn't numb me out, it never leaves my clit sore, and it brings quick and satisfying orgasms.

Care and Maintenance

Eroscillator attachments can be washed with soap and water, but they cannot be boiled. This means that you can't really ever fully sterilize them, so it's best to put condoms over them when using them anally, or when sharing with a partner you're not fluid-bonded with.

Because this attachment is coated in silicone, it collects lint, dirt, and dust fairly easily. For this reason, I store it in a plastic bag with my other Eroscillator attachments, where they're protected from dirt.

Silicone-based lube can't be used with this toy, again because it's coated in silicone. Water-based lube works just fine.

Packaging

My Fingertip attachment arrived in a small, unassuming plastic bag, with no outer packaging. I guess I'm glad that they didn't waste cardboard, but I'd worry about this toy getting damaged if I tried to send it to someone.

I have the same complaint about this attachment's packaging as I do about the packaging for the Eroscillator itself: if we're buying a toy this expensive, we want at least a decent storage pouch or box. It's aggravating to shell out $140 on the base unit and $40 on the attachment and have neither of them come with any long-term storage solutions.

Experience

I recommend putting a drop or two of water-based lube on your clit before using the Fingertip attachment (or any Eroscillator attachment, really) because it makes it glide smoother and feel better.

The oscillations slow down if you press the attachment into your body, so if you want to take a break, apply some pressure until you're ready to keep going. I find this feature is useful for keeping me on the very edge of reaching orgasm, until I'm ready to go over.

Something strange about the Eroscillator is that I don't get "blue clit" when I use it, the way I do if I stop using a regular vibrator before reaching orgasm. I guess this is because the stimulation is more gentle. This effect is particularly true for the even gentler Fingertip attachment.
Follow-up commentary
I literally have not touched my other Eroscillator attachments since I received this one. It is perfect. Seriously, if you have an Eroscillator, you NEED this attachment - no excuses.

With a little lube or arousal gel applied to the marshmallow before use, the combo of this attachment with the Eroscillator is the best clit stimulator I have ever used, bar none.
