Boy, did the Bubbly Toyfriend make me happy. I believe this is the start of a long friendship.

But I digress; Bubbly Toyfriend is a versatile toy, which can be used either internally or externally. When used internally, it provides great G-spot stimulation. Due to the "bubbles" at the top, there is a good bit of drag and suction when used for thrusting. Unless you are naturally well-lubricated, you will want to use some water-based lube. Remember to NEVER use silicone-based lube with a silicone toy.

The graduated "bubbles" enable easy insertion but do provide suction when being removed. There are three vibration patterns (which I prefer to straight vibration). For those who like steady vibrations, there are two speeds. If you are looking for power in your vibrations, this is not the toy for you. If you are looking for deep medium vibrations, then this is right up your ally.

This is also wonderful for pinpoint stimulation of the G-spot, clit or other body parts. The bullet is located in the bubbled head. There is a good deal of vibration, in the bottom shaft as well, so if you can stimulate your clit if the tip is not too deeply inserted.

You can travel with your Bubbly pretty easily. This is not a tiny toy, but given its futuristic design, it is not likely to be immediately identified as a vibe. It does not have a locking feature, so you will want to either remove the batteries or save the paper covering for the batteries and reuse it. It can be hard to explain why your bag is suddenly vibrating.

The Bubbly is very quiet. I was using it while on the phone with my honey, he was not aware I was playing with it until I told him. You would be safe using it under the covers or in a room with the door closed, especially if you are using it internally. One great thing is that, if you hold down the button for two seconds, it turns off. Toys that, you have to cycle through all the functions to turn off are quite annoying and could lead to discovery in roommate situations.

Made of silicone, EF rates this toy's safety as a 10 out of 10. I love silicone toys! The Bubbly has a nice buttery soft texture. It is much more realistic than slick hard plastic. Silicone does tend to require a bit of water-based lube. Remember to never use silicone lubes with silicone toys. You will ruin your toy, and that would be very sad.

The bubbles at the top provide lots of texture. I actually prefer textured toys, but this may be too intense for some users. The bubbles do have a good bit of drag, and you can definitely feel them when used internally or externally.

EF lists the following about silicone:

The box says, “It could be a ray gun or a string of pearls.” I do not see the string of pearls reference, but the ray gun look is a definite. It looks like one of those props from a campy science fiction movie. If you like to play Space Invaders in the bedroom, this would complete the outfit.

This is a great design. It is very cute with a vibrant color and a great shape. The tip is where the bullet is located. The bubbles are wonderful for internal and external play. The shaft is firm and inflexible, as it houses the batteries. Between these is the flexible neck which allows you to reach your G-spot or other areas.

There are two speeds and three vibration patterns. The high setting is comparable to the medium setting on most of my other toys. This is a great toy for those who do not like or need a great deal of power.

The controls are easy to use and located at the bottom of the toy. When using toys internally, this is the most convenient spot for changing the settings. The Bubbly starts on the highest setting, drops to the low setting, then cycles through three pulsing functions. I love having the pulsing options. For those in dorms or who are using it where they do not want others to know, the Bubbly turns off quickly by holding the function button for two seconds.

The vibrations are centered in the tip, where the bullet is located. The noise level is 2. The toy is very quiet and would work well for those who do not live alone.

The Bubbly blows through batteries in a short time. Batteries are included with the Bubbly upon its arrival. You just need to open the battery compartment to remove the little piece of paper, and you are off to the races. Unfortunately the included batteries did not give as much power as the ones I replaced them with. Perhaps the ones that came in my Bubbly were old.

When the batteries begin to lose power, the Bubbly will stop intermittently. I found this very annoying. When I was about to climax, it just stopped. After pushing the on button a few times, it started back up, only to inconveniently stop again. At first I thought there might be an issue with my new Toyfriend, but luckily it was a battery issue. Most toys let you know the batteries need changing by getting slower.

Silicone makes for a quick and easy clean up. Even with the contours of the Bubbly, cleaning is a snap. You can easily wash this toy with mild soap or toy cleaner. As it is waterproof, you do not need to worry about getting it wet. I have washed my Bubbly under running water, and no water got into the battery compartment.

Most silicone toys are very easy to care for as long as you remember that silicone does not like silicone. Do not use silicone lubes or place this toy next to other silicone toys. Doing so will ruin the silicone.

The packaging is a cute cardboard box with cellophane on the front. It allows you to see the toy. When you open up the box, you find a plastic see through case that holds the Bubbly.

It opens from the top to reveal the Bubbly and the clear plastic holder. The holder is great to keep the Bubbly upright when not in use. I love the plastic case for storage. Bubbly is silicone, so it tends to attract lint.

The front of the box reminds you that batteries are included. It states, Toyfriend Bubbly "A string of pearls or a laser-gun? Press my button and choose your fun!"



On the side are the words, "I VIBRATE" and give six languages for the word "massager".

The back states "SAY HI TO YOUR NEW TOYFRIEND! I am your new Toyfriend and I vibrate. I am very powerful, waterproof, safe to play with and made from the finest super-smooth silicone. I come with two different speeds as well as three very nice pulsation modes. My two AAA-batteries are included, and to get me ready for use just unscrew my back, remove the paper covering the batteries and screw the back on again. To get me started, please press my button and switch speed or pulsation mode by pressing the button again. To turn me off, simply hold my button down for two-seconds."

Below that it gives ADVICE that you should use only compatible lubricants and not to use on swollen or inflamed areas of skin. I thought the purpose was to use it on swollen areas. Oh well.

Overall, I love the Bubbly. No toy is perfect, but this one is definitely a "Go to Toy." My only issues are that it is not very powerful and the intermittent stopping when the battery is low. Other than that it is a great and versatile toy. The pinpoint stimulation that it offers would work well on either gender and numerous body parts. Being as it is curved but still somewhat flexible, it can be used internally, for clitoral stimulation, on the penis, scrotum or perineum, nipples, or for light anal use. As it does not have a base, you should avoid using it for deeper anal penetration. There are separate bases you can buy for your vibrator to enable you to use it anally. This has a great shape and feel and might be worth the investment of one of these devices to add to the Bubbly.

As you can see the Bubbly can be bent to be almost straight.

I enjoy my Bubbly both internally and externally. The power internally is great, but it is even better when an external stimulation is added. I added another smaller clit vibe to the program. Boy, did the combination ever get me there. This is a time when two is definitely better than one. Just be careful not to use two silicone toys together as their contact could cause a negative reaction for your toys. I like the combining of toys instead of using a rabbit as the rabbit part never seems to be in the right place. This way, I can get both in exactly the right place.
