I'm all for trying interesting products for my personal use, so naturally when I saw this winged strap-on vibrator I was excited to see how well it would work. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it did what it was supposed to do. I did acheive orgasm...but it was slow coming (no pun intended). I felt the straps were more cumbersome than helpful. I thought I would like the short length of the dildo, but I would have liked it to be a little longer and a good deal thicker. The vibrator portion wasn't nearly as effective as it should have been. This could be a good thing for women who like mild vibrator stimulation.

I wouldn't recommend this for the novice. If this is your first time buying self pleasure toys then I'd stick to something a little less strappy and simple. If you decide to use the item without the straps, it is much more pleasurable.

The Venus Penis does have one positive point. The dildo/vibrator portion of the toy is easily cleaned and doesn't chafe. So many female toys can cause irritation, and this item doesn't do anything to leave an unpleasant reminder. The straps can also be removed and washed (they are low tension elastic). This could be a great toy for a woman with a retro-verted or tilted vagina. The small dildo portion of the toy would eliminate any uncomfortable insertion.

As far as noise level, the Venus Penis is rather quiet. I wouldn't go using this in your bedroom while you mom is visiting, but it isn't as loud as most vibrators. One good feature of its design is that it is rather flat once inserted. I found that if you get in a soft chair and use the toy you can use the chair to hold the item in and rock back and forth.
