The Durex Play Ellipse is wonderful for g-spot stimulation. It's curve and and bulbous head makes for direct and less pin-pointed stimulation. Since the tip is so bulbous, the pin-pointed vibrations some like with g-spot toys to use additionally on the clitoris is lost on this toy. It's shape also allows for fast thrusting and therefore isn't limited to rocking or jiggling as other g-spot toys are. The vibrations are defused throughout the toy and don't really give any direct vibrations.

Despite my love for this type of stimulation, the plastic seems are a major turn off as well as safety hazard. This may be simply my product but based on the other reviews up, it seems to be the norm. However if you can get over the seems and the price this toy would be best suited for beginners and intermediate users. Couples would also be at ease using this toy together since the head is easy to maneuver in and out.

Of all the jelly products and plastic products and other products that tend to be bad, this one seems to be a secret evil. The plastic seems to be well enough until you encounter the seams it has to offer. Although one would imagine the seams of such a toy would be properly taken care of, you may not want to jump to that conclusion. Even if you don't feel the jabs of plastic running your hand along it, you will most definitely feel it when you attempt to use it.

I tried scratching the jabs off and it worked okay, but caused a huge safety hazard.

This is a medium sized toy that is 9 inches tall and is just a little less than 7 inches insertable. It has a bulge on both ends; one end acts as a handle which is nice for holding onto. The other bulge works great for g-spot use.

The functions aren’t the most user friendly to use but work great. This functions as both a sex toy and a body massager since it could be too big for some. Since it gets slimmer after the bulge, this would be better for beginners. More experienced users who enjoy more girth may want to pass on this toy since it won’t be big enough.

This toy is harder to hide than bullets. Especially since you have to keep the charger with it instead of just having some loose batteries lying around. While some may find the charger to be better, I find it to be an annoyance.

One of the great functions of this toy is the off button will turn the toy directly off without having to go through a power down. Although it would be nice to go from a higher setting to a lower one, the fact that once I’m done with my session, I can turn it off and be done with it. Since this toy is rechargeable, it’s nice not having to buy more and more batteries, however it takes a long time to charge it. And I mean about 12 hours, so when you are half way through and you realize your toy is out of juice, start looking for something else! But you may want to keep it charged for any shower play you have planned. It’s not water proof so don’t take a bath, as its splash proof. Which means splashing around in the shower would be perfect.

The vibrations pinpoint at the insertable bulge. This is great for clitoral play or really pinpointing the sensation on the g-spot. The vibrations consist of three levels:

One: A low to medium steady vibration.
Two: A high steady vibration.
Three: A high intensity pulsating vibration.

Like mentioned above, the controls aren’t really the easiest to use and that is because they are one the other side of the curve so to change a setting you have to reach around it. Once you do reach them its easy to distinguish the different two buttons by one being raised. The port is also located by the controls which are used for charging

This toy is made out of plastic so it cannot be fully sanitized so if you want to share your toy you should use a condom on it. For cleaning purposes use warm water and soap or rubbing alcohol. Or your handy dandy toy cleaner. And since its splash proof you do not need to worry about getting water all over while washing it. Just remember not to submerge to toy into water.

All lubes work with this toy; water, oil and silicone. It can be stored in the purple draw string bag that is included with the toy or in a drawer. However since plastic is very durable, you need not worry too much about other materials destroying it.
