A very nice beginners toy. Better suited for penetration, rather than clitoral stimulation, the Durex Play Allure is discreet and comes with a pretty storage cloth. It is easy to use as well as clean, beyond quiet, and very sturdy. More for solo use than with a partner, as the shape and handling can be a bit tricky for partner play.

Extremely smooth plastic makes this vibrator easy for gliding action. With too much lube this can be a bit tricky to grip on to. There was no smell or taste coming out of the box. I did have a problem with turning the setting on high when the battery section popped open. This only happened once. It does feel a little cheaper than your average toy but it still gets the job done.

It's very rigid and the curve on it gives it a nice feel during penetration. It's simple and smooth but cannot be inserted very far. 4 inches insertion and another 2 to spare for handling. The silky purple pouch makes it very easy to travel with, it'll even fit in your purse. A great feature about this is you do not have to worry about it going off at untimely situations while traveling.

The vibrations on this are on the low side, so I had trouble getting clitoral stimulation from it, though beginners to vibrators may have more luck. It was, however, useful while lubed up for insertion and use on the clit. The on and off can be a bit tricky to get used to at first because it is very well hidden, which can be a plus aesthetically. It is a tad noisier than my other vibrators but nowhere near bringing the house down. Works well in the shower and can even take a drop or two.

Very easy to take care of. Basic cleaning. Works with all lubes, none which have left behind anything after cleaning. The storing pouch is pretty and can even fit another toy in with it.

The packaging was really nice on the Durex Play Allure. It came in a cardboard box with a window. The pull string bag put to the side. Works well if you have other toys and don't want them rattling around to store it right back in the box.
