iEgg - bullet vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Tessa Taboo

This toy got PLENTY of use from me. While it lasted, it was my go-to toy. It's great for clitoral stimulation during intercourse, and alone as well. I'm not big on nipple stimulation, but I'm sure it would work for that as well.

Upon opening, the iEgg didn't have any scent what-so-ever. The bullet is made from white hypo-allergenic plastic, and has a silver coating over it. I only know this because after using it (for quite some time) the silver started to wear off in a few places. I thought that maybe it was due to the fact that I tend to use silicone lube a lot, but being plastic, it should be compatible with all water, silicone and oil based lubes. The controller section of it is plastic as well, and is not flimsy or cheap feeling. I never had a problem with the buttons working, or the battery cover staying on, or anything like that. It's a well built product.

The bullet is a little over 2 inches long. It is the perfect size for holding on to, even when things got a little wet. I'm not sure why they call it an egg, because as you can see from the picture, it doesn't resemble an egg in the slightest variation. If you have never owned a bullet before, I highly recommend spending the money for this one. The cheap ones just don't hold a candle to this one. On the same note, if you are a fan of bullets and have used them before, you will be highly impressed by the quality and function of the iEgg.

The iEgg has 5 functions: Escalating, Pulsating, Rollercoaster, Surging and Vibrating. I have owned other toys in the past that had the multi-function capability, and I always hated them. With the iEgg, I'm not sure if the patterns are just a little different, or if it was stronger but they were fully satisfying. My favorites were the escalating and the surging functions. The iEgg also has varying vibration speed for each of the functions. When it has fresh batteries in it, and it is on high power, it is the bullet equivalent of a jackhammer. The low vibration setting was great for teasing. Even on the highest setting, it was still fairly quiet. It is controlled by 3 AA batteries, which last quite a while, but not as long as they do in other toys that don't have the multi-function properties.

This toy is very easy to take care of. We just sprayed the bullet off with toy cleaner, wiped it off, and threw it in our toy bag.

The ultimate demise of this toy was the wiring. After about 2 years of heavy use, the wires, where they went into the bullet, became frayed from being twisted and turned during use, and probably storage as well. It became unsafe to use because of the exposed wiring, so we had to throw it away. Would I buy another one though? Heck yeah!
