Diamond butterfly - vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Beautiful Dreamer

I’m a big fan of rabbit style vibrators. Vaginal and clitoral stimulation that does most of the work? Sign me up! The Diamond Butterfly is a classy looking waterproof vibrator. It’s white and clear with a row of diamonds between the body and the control panel. The packaging is a simple, slightly flimsy container that’s bright and cute. It claims it’s a “Girl’s Best Friend” and I’m inclined to agree.

This is middle of the road as far as rabbits I already own, with a 4 ½” insertable length and a 4 ½” circumference. The total length is 9 ½” giving you enough space to hold the rabbit comfortably. When selecting a rabbit vibe, it’s a good idea to know your own personal anatomy. The butterfly clitoral stimulator on this is rather short, measuring only 1” long with the antennae adding another ½”. This barely reaches my clit, but enough so where I still can use it for it’s intended purpose. The wings on the butterfly do provide great labia stimulation though.

To get your rabbit working, simply unscrew the cap on the bottom and slip out the battery holder. Load 3-AAs, slide the battery holder in, and screw the cap on TIGHT. The last step is particularly important if you’re taking your bunny for a bath. If the cap isn’t tight enough, the rubber o-ring will not be compressed and you’ll flood the battery compartment and ruin the toy.

There are three speeds of vibration and rotation on this rabbit, as well as the ability to reverse rotation. The control panel is very easy to use. The vibrations and rotations have separate up & down buttons which conveniently light up once that level is selected. The reverse rotation button is placed at the top, between the two indicator lights. The buttons are easy to press as there is a light texture on the entire control pad (particularly helpful when fingers have lubricant on them or your in the shower/tub). The buttons are not so sensitive where accidentally brushing them will change a setting though.

The vibrations are positioned right in the tip of the clitoral stimulator, allowing the Antennae to vibrate very well. The rotating beads are on tracks, so no jamming here. The head also rotates with the rotating beads. Both start at a medium level vibe & rotation, but pack a punch on the highest setting. Turning either up does not adversely affect the other.

Something definitely to consider with any sex toy is how loud it actually is. This toy is a little quieter once inserted, but can easily be heard through sheets and probably through very thin walls or thin doors.

This rabbit is made of phthalates-free TPE. It only has a very light scent when you’re very close to it. It can be cleaned with soap & water or a toy cleaner, but cannot be sterilized. This means that if you plan on sharing, be sure to cover the toy with a condom. Because rabbit style vibrators are hard to completely cover, keeping this for your own personal use may be the best option. Both silicone and water based lubricants are okay to use with this material. If you’re going to take this in the water, using a silicone lubricant is a good idea because it does tend to last longer in water.

Overall, the Diamond Butterfly is a classy dual-stimulation rabbit style vibrator that works as well as it looks. Add to that the fact it's waterproof and that makes this a rabbit to own.
