Lipstick vibrator by Shaki Toys - review by ~LaUr3n~

This is almost as discrete as it gets! Women love makeup and women love lipstick...and if you don't men will be none the wiser to see this vibrator in your purse or among your things! It is extremely compact in order to be so discrete. Because of this, the best use for this lipstick sized vibrator is clitoral stimulation. Other uses can include external stimulation of other erogenous zones, such as nipples.

This toy is super easy to use, and is super uninteresting. This is due to its size and vibration level. It can be used by someone of any experience level. It can also be used at any occasion. There is no set-up needed. this toy is extreme zero-fuss!

This mini-vibrator is make out of plastic. It is incredibly smooth, has no taste, and no smell. The outside case for the vibrator is a gorgeous purple and is a matte finish. The inside is a silver and the lipstick piece is a light pink. It was supposed to be red, which was the reason I chose this color scheme. This was a disappointment to me. The light pink color of the one I received looked far less convincing as lipstick.

The smooth texture of the lipstick piece makes it easy to slide it around your clitoris with lubricant. The nice thing about plastic is that it can be used with any kind of lubricant. This means you can choose water, oil, or silicone. The plastic is non-porous, phthalate free, and latex free. Using a condom in still recommended however since plastic cannot be sterilized.

Good things come in small packages! This vibrator is almost 4 inches (3 3/4 inches long). The insertable length in 1 3/4 inches long. The circumference at it's widest point is 2 3/4 inches. This is around the battery compartment however, not the insertable part. This toy only takes 1 AAA battery. Because of it's small size and battery requirement, this toy weighs a measly 0.1 pound. The design is best for being discrete not for MAXIMUM arousal. Is it not great or even good for insertion. Because of it's small size external vibration is best, especially clitoral.

I did not have high hopes for this vibrator since it only required one AAA battery. I however, was surprised by the amount of vibrations produced by such little battery power. Although not earth shattering, I would rate this pocket vibrator's vibration at a 3. It was pretty impressive for such a small and compact unit! On the other hand it is only one speed, which is a bummer.

I wish I could say that getting the batteries in was a since, but it wads actually a feat. The one battery slides into the compartment and then you have to push and twist the unit. I really felt like I was going to break it! It took quite a bit of force and man power to get the battery to slide and then lock into place.

Once the battery is in the proper compartment, the controls are easy to use. There are three settings for the switch: OPEN, ON, and OFF. You just pivot the unit into the appropriate slot. When in the off position it is really secure and won't change on you like some lower end toys. No waste of battery power here!

Once turned on its only setting, it is incredibly quiet! There are a lot of toys that claim to be discrete, but they are only discrete in aesthetics. This toy is discrete in sound too. It is one of my quietest toys by far. With quiet usually comes less power. The power on this vibe, while impressive for its size and battery capacity, is on the weaker side of the toy spectrum. It does get the job done though and it beats carrying around a huge vibe in your purse, that is for sure!

The lipstick vibe is great clitorally and on nipples. I have fairly small nipples and a small clit. It was easy for me to use. This is not great for vaginal insertion because it is so short and slim. This would have little to no purpose anally and would not be safe either.

This toy is easy to take care of, but you have to be careful since it is not water proof. A moist cloth and soap will clean this toy or by wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol. It can not be sterilized, so if you can use a condom, one is recommended. The plastic is also resilient, so you don't have to worry about it melting in hot temperatures like jelly and or rubber. It should do just fine in a purse or gym bag, or even...dare I say, a school bag!

This toy comes in packaging that doesn't fit the toy at all. It come in this little cardboard box with porno anime pictures on it. It looks like it came out of one of those dirty pantie vending machines from Japan to be honest. I would just toss the packaging. It is not discrete at all which is pretty ironic.

I have added a few similar products to the end of this review. You could have a whole purse of incognito vibrators!

I wanted to make a note that it was hard to put the battery in the first time. I felt like I was going to break the unit when I had to apply pressure to close the battery compartment. It does take some effort.
