The first thing I noticed was that on the box of this Wall Bangers Deluxe Dolphin, there was the warning on the back which states: “Caution: the vibrator is not intended for therapeutic purposes, and is recommended for external use only. Prolonged and frequent use is not advised or recommended, as these items are sold for novelty purposes only. This vibrator should be used with discretion.” Does anyone else find it extremely odd that a vibrator should be used EXTERNALLY only? ...Especially when some of the description on the box says “you will be amazed by how it stays put during every passionate thrust!” I understand that it is sold as a “novelty”, but I have never seen such a warning on a vibrator before. Good thing it is still waterproof -- I was worried that would be the second warning!

My first experience trying to use this Wall Bangers Deluxe Dolphin was a disaster. First of all, it was hard to determine what type of batteries are required. I did find a label later on the bottom of the box stating what batteries it took. It almost looked like it was for a 9V, but it turned out to need two AA batteries. Then, we had to figure out how they go in, since there was no labeling for + and - . It ended up that you need one battery with + up and one battery with + down. Then you are presented with yet another problem, the battery cover/vibration control/suction cup has to be lined up a certain way in order for the batteries to make contact, and it is hard to figure out where to start screwing it on in order for everything to line up right and still have the cover on. We gave up after 3 unsuccessful tries, and I just left it partially screwed on.

Then, the suction cup... It did work, but I did not find it to be very powerful, as they claim it is. It came un-suctioned a few times during trying to use it attached to a body mirror. It does take some guessing to get it positioned right -- it took a few tries. Despite the warning, I still inserted it vaginally, I figured what the heck, people have inserted worse things into themselves! I will probably not use it often based on the warning, and always with care when I do. It is also not very flexible, but it does have some give. I pretty much gave up after it came unsuctioned once I finally had the right spot, so because of frustration and sexual tension I gave up at that point. I told my husband it was time to just have sex!

The second time I tried was better. My husband figured out how to line it up properly, so that the battery cover was fully on when it was turned on (and now we made a mark on it so we can line it up properly everytime). I tried it out in the shower hoping to get a better suction. Unfortunately I still had trouble, but this story has a happy ending. If I use it as a traditional vibrator, NOT suction cupped to the wall, it worked beautifully. The little snout part of the dolphin is so small, and it delivers a very pin pointed and concentrated vibration right on your clit. The vibration is not really strong, but since it is so pinpointed, it really got me going! The girth also works very well for me; it's not too big, and not too small. It is not very insertable, but for me that also works okay -- I get off more on clitoral stimulation, and that is where this toy delivers.

I like that it is non-porous material, which makes cleanup easier. The description states it is made of jelly material, which is soft and smooth, but not very flexible. I wish it were more flexible, and that might have made it easier to use when mounted somewhere. It is waterproof, and was made in China. The packaging is a cardboard box. Inside the box, the vibrator was wrapped in bubble wrap, and then the vibrator itself had a plastic wrapper around it. My box has already started to come apart at the seam. I am just going to toss it out, since it won’t be good for storage.

I will definitely keep trying to experiment with “mounting” it somewhere. I am just glad that I can use it like a traditional vibrator -- for me, using it that way works well. It is also a great color; I am in love with the vibrant bright blue. Too bad there are so many negatives that outweigh the positives.

I do still use it from time to time in the shower, but overall it is still a pain in the ass to use, but as a rabbit it does work pretty good.
