Extreme might be pushing it...

I wouldn't call anything about this toy extreme, and it didn't exactly work me into a frenzy, but I was pleasantly surprised with the strength of the vibrations. This could be a good choice for someone looking for a smaller dual stimulation vibe, but for me the cons outweigh the pros.

Pros

Cons
Short insertable portion, can slip out if not held, porous, not waterproof, not quiet.

Use

The Extreme Butterfly Frenzy is a corded double bullet with a TPR sleeve featuring a butterfly shaped attachment that holds the smaller bullet. It is intended for simultaneous vaginal and clitoral stimulation. It could also be used for external stimulation anywhere on the body, and could be used anally with the butterfly portion resting against the perineum and preventing the toy from slipping too far inside. The TPR sleeve can also be removed, so you could use the plastic bullets uncovered, or use the sleeve with another set of bullets if you preferred. The Butterfly Frenzy is quite small, so it would be easier to store or travel with than many other dual stimulation toys. Unfortunately, it isn't waterproof.

Material / Texture

The sleeve is made from stretchy, squishy TPR. It has a tacky feeling surface and attracts lint. The insertable portion is completely smooth. The butterfly has 3 ridges on its stomach and a pattern on its wings, but they don't add stimulation since they can't be rubbed against the clitoris. It has a slight odor, but it is undetectable during use. The inner bullets are plastic and the control pack is plastic with a PU coating.

Design / Shape / Size

The insertable portion of the toy is 2 inches long, and it has a circumference of 4 inches. I find the width to be sufficient, but the length is a bit lacking. The short, straight shape won't be able to provide g-spot stimulation for most women. I also found that it tended to pop out if I didn't hold it in place. The clitoral stimulator extends 2 inches from the main bullet, excluding the antennae. The point where the butterfly attaches is very flexible so it can be easily bent back. With the sleeve removed, the smaller bullet is about 1 1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide and the larger bullet is about 2 inches long and 1 inch wide.

The control pack fits nicely into my hand, and the buttons are positioned where my thumb naturally falls while holding it. It is easy to open and to remove or insert the batteries. The cord is 28 inches long, which I found to be sufficient.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are 5 settings of steady vibrations, and the bullets can't be controlled separately. They are strong, buzzy, and a little loud. The larger bullet, in the insertable portion, feels slightly stronger. The controls are very simple to operate although the buttons are unmarked. The top one turns the toy on, then increases the vibrations. The bottom button decreases the vibrations, then turns them off. There is no quick off button, but it won't take more than a second or two to turn it off.

Care and Maintenance

TPR is porous and can't be disinfected, so the toy shouldn't be shared or used anally then vaginally. Because of the shape it can't be covered with a condom. It should be washed with warm water and soap or a toy cleaner. You might want to store this in a bag since it attracts lint like crazy and could melt if stored touching other reactive toys. It is compatible with water or silicone based lubes.

Packaging

The packaging is flimsy plastic with a window on the front to show the toy inside. The back has a picture of the toy and a short product description. There are no instructions, but the bottom of the package provides some useful information, such as what batteries the toy takes (3 AAAs), the materials used, and the fact that the toy should not be submersed. It isn't suitable for storage.
Follow-up commentary
I never really liked this toy. The shape of the TPR sleeve just didn't do much for me; especially the butterfly, which was too flexible to put pressure on my clit and didn't conduct vibrations very well. I ended up throwing out the TPR portion, which left me with a set of dual bullets. I can't honestly say I've used that much either, but it works better for me to put the large bullet directly on my clit without the TPR in the way. At least I was able to salvage this toy somewhat.
