Extremely DisappointingThis toy is quite unique in design, but fails to impress. Don't let the travel friendly, compact design sway your decision on purchasing this item. It's cheaply made, extremely loud, and isn't very powerful. Great for beginners and those that don't need to worry about sound issues, but won't be enough to satisfy those that are power hungry.
For male solo use, you could run the vibe along the shaft of your penis, stimulate your testicles and perineum, or use it for external anal play. Though this toy wouldn't get lost if you were to insert it anally, it's not suited for that type of play. Other options are available on Eden if you're looking for an anal vibrator.
Perhaps best used by couples, this vibe is easy to hold and use. Thanks to the design, there are no lengthy cords to get tangled up in and no finicky buttons to deal with. During foreplay, this toy can be used on any sensitive area of the body and can be used as a warm up to penetrative sex or more powerful toys. It's best to use this toy on areas of the body that are more sensitive to vibrations. This wouldn't work well for massage, and isn't great for applying a lot of pressure; this is best used as a light teasing toy.
Using just about anywhere other than the tub or shower is a safe idea. Since this one isn't waterproof, you can't take it with you to help relax in the tub. Additionally, you'll need to use caution while you're cleaning it so that water doesn't leak into the toy.
The plastic areas of this toy have no give or movement to them, but the aluminum cord can be bent in a variety of ways. The flexibility of this piece makes it easier to reach all the right areas since you can position it just about any way you want. It moves easily, and stays in place well unless you're applying pressure with it.
The surface of the toy is shiny and the battery pack and stimulator are mostly smooth with no added texture. The stimulator itself has a very obvious seam going around the center of it which can be felt with your hands and during use. The flexible 'arm' is aluminum and has a ribbed-like texture to it. If you're only using this toy externally, the texture of this area shouldn't be an issue since it's not likely to come in contact with your body. If you are very sensitive to texture, the seam on the stimulator might be a problem, but that should be the only area of concern.
When the package is opened, there's no smell, not even a 'new' plastic smell you often find with toys of this material.
The actual design of this toy is quite interesting. Unlike a lot of toys that have a bullet or egg attached to a battery pack, this one doesn't have a long cord to deal with. The stimulator is attached to the pack by a thick, flexible arm. On the battery pack itself is an impression along the top that fits the arm perfectly, and has a little area on the side that the stimulator fits into. When this toy is being unused and stored, the arm hugs against the pack and the tip of the toy fits into the side easily; making the toy that much more compact as a result.
(mine has obvious chipping inside and was like that straight out of the package)
The front of the toy has the company name toward the bottom, and at the top has an LED light, power button, and the words 10 Functions, along with on and off printed near the button. The bottom of the toy is a little more narrow than the top, but is rounded on both ends. The back of the toy has your battery compartment and simply has the word open on the cover, and has a couple other markings formed in the plastic itself.
The size of the toy makes it very travel friendly while remaining comfortable to hold and use. When the stimulator is tucked into the side of the battery compartment, it is 3 5/8" tall, and is 2" at the widest and 1 1/4" at the smallest area. It's only 1/2" wide, so it can be tucked into your pocket without causing it to bulge out. The arm and stimulator are 4" long when fully extended, 1 3/8" make up the stimulator.
Nothing about this toy is realistic looking which does add to making it appear more discreet. While someone unfamiliar with sex toys might not immediately think this is an intimate product (until they turn it on), most toys users have heard of this company before and would instantly know what it is. If you plan on traveling, this wouldn't be very embarrassing if someone were to see it in your bags, making it a great option to take with you on the go.
The front of the toy has an LED light at the top and a button directly underneath that. To turn the toy on, you press the button once. That will bring you to your first setting. The light will turn red and glows based on the vibration pattern it's on. Every press of the button brings you to the next pattern, and you have to cycle through each setting in order to turn the toy off again.
The settings are as follows:
1) Steady Low
2) Steady Medium
3) Steady High
4) Fast Escalating Pulse
6) Fast Pulse
7) Escalating Pulse, Three Broken Pulses, Repeat
8) Steady, Slow Pulse, Quickens, Repeat
9) Steady (Low, Medium, The High), Pulse, Repeat
10) Slow Escalating Pulses, Steady, Repeat
The vibrations are buzzy, but not as light as some. Though they aren't rumbly, they should work okay for the average user to at least use as a warm up or teasing toy. Power queens won't be satisfied by this toy, but beginners and those more sensitive to vibrations should find it suitable and might even be able to orgasm from it.
The power can be felt throughout the whole toy, but is more obvious in the stimulator and battery pack itself, and less obvious in the arm. During use, your hand will become tingly and numb from the vibrations, and the area of your body may also lose a little sensation depending on length of use and how sensitive you are.
Though this is fairly discreet as far as size and appearance, it fails miserably when it comes to the sound level. The stimulator itself has a horrible rattle to it that can be heard through a closed door if there's no other noise in the room. When you hold the stimulator in your hand, it quiets down, but unless you're holding onto the end the whole time, it's very loud. For this reason, it's not a great product if you need something quiet because you have roommates or need something sound discreet.
Plastic is compatible with any lubricant type, but you'll want to avoid using an oil-based product if you're using it in or near the vagina.
Storing this toy is very simple. There are no material compatibility concerns, so the toy can be stored in or out of a toy pouch, directly with any of your other toys, or simply tossed into your nightstand drawer.
The packaging this toy comes in isn't the best for gifting. It's not discreet enough and has a cheap and tacky feel to it. It's not strong enough to be used for long term storage and doesn't include any type of additional storage.
As far as sexual uses, this works well as a teasing toy for someone who's more sensitive to vibrations, but it wasn't enough for us.
